sis texted me last fri saying tt she needs to discuss with me about mama upcoming sugery
i did not want to hear any nonsense from her and i was also busy so i told her "cant now"
nonsense?  why ?  coz she did not know tt i knew tt she has quit her job and has been staying at home or to put it bluntly back to her old days when she go out "partying" "high tea" and whatever not with her friends

i am fine with tt. tts her life. her hubby allows her to do it. they can afford it. then SO BE IT.
but i need a job, i need to take care of myself.

so anyway she said to call her after work la and she wanted to see whether can i take leave

SEE!! i knew it!!
but to me, since mama is staying in hospital after the surgery. with the prof ppl around her, WHY I NEED TO BE THERE or rather is there a need to to be there 24 hrs??afterall i will definitely pop by after work each day, just like the previous time, right?

so okie, curious to know what tricks she had up her sleeve
i asked her to call me and make it quick

so the long story cut short is
mama is gg for a 3 day surgery according to doc
1 day operate and 2 days in hospital under observation and then see how
previously, mama stayed so long lor... to me where got 3 days
want me to take indefinite leave, sorry lor... and like i explained, i wil be there after work and day time, well got prof ppl around her, got papa and sis lor

even if sis no go, got papa mah

okie, so she suggested tt each one of us take a day leave first and see how
(bearing in mind she did not know tt i knew tt she is not working currently)
i thought how could my own sis come up with such an idea
i mean hello!!! she is not working leh!!!

okie, so i replied but does not make sense right? 3 days leh.. and if each of us take a day then 3rd day how? and if extended stay then how?
then she got angry and went "how would i know? dun know got complication or not?  if have then got to extend lor"
and so my qn next would be extended then how? we each take on alternate days?
cannot see short term right? must see long term mah
but i did not ask her la

as i dun want to argue with her or continue to hear what stories she can cook up
i just  bluntly put it across to her "hey! come on la. u r not working now. still want me to take leave just to sit there and look at mama? i can go after work right? anything wrong?'
then she went " ok fine then what about 14th?  can u take leave and bring mama around the hopsital to take her tests before the surgery"
and then my fire fused up liao
i said ' see ah, all along u have been taking care of these. so i rather u go with her for the tests in case need to make whatever decisions i think u r in the best position to do it. if not i would be calling u"
and then she went " walao eh, so u do nothing la"
and i blurted out "come on la. u r the one not working and u want to gay gao with me 1 day leave to bring her around hospital to do her tests"
i already said i can go after work and i really see no point to be in the hopsital when during the day time when there are prof help around. 
then she said softly" just do tests where got make decision one?"
but come on la, there is always a "what if" unless she can assure, gurantee that there is no "what if"

anyway either she dun get it or i dun get it
she not working, she has all the time, why gay gao with me??

then i said " okie if u really want me to take leave and sit there look at mama, just let me know, i see how i can arrange with boss lor"
then she also raise her voice a little at me and said tt on 23rd she already made arrangement with her friends to do whatever shit la.  and then she promised le and blah blah blah. and then now how? i got to go. i promised blah blah blah i got my own things to do so.. blah blah blah"
and all i told her is " then u go lor. u just go. arranged le. then go lor"
and then she went silence

i dun see whats the issue?
did anybody say she cannot go and she needs to cancel it?
she just take it upon herself tt everyday, 24 hours, someone from family must be there with mama
i mean.... still got papa mah
even if its tiring for him, so?? i mean would also be tiring for us right.......... oh, sorry hor, maybe not tiring for her.... since she not working and she not old like papa
she just got to arrange with papa tt either one take AM the other take pm and i come in the evening lor
not like previous, she and papa went in the AM till PM.... i mean.. come on lor....we have limited man power so must hao hao de li yong
but the most impt thing is no matter what, all must be on stand by mode, esp her... coz she decision maker mah

in my humble opinion, seeing her so tired and fragile now... and previously when she did her surgery and then got to rest a few weeks before she recovered, sigh......maybe dun do is a good thing
but if tts what she wants, then we shall just do it!!

and decided to wear the hearing aid

was so stubborn earlier
despite sis arranged the appt with the doc in polyclinic to get referreral for him to get the hearing aid
just coz he waited so long in the q, he got mad and said
"I DUN NEED IT. I CAN HEAR PERFECTLY"
just becoz he waited so long just to see the doc......saying tt already made appt why need to wait...
well, tts the life right?
just got to wait for ur turn whether u like it or not, made reservation or not.. unless u damn big shot la

anyway then coz of someone stubborness
we totally cannot talk to him
its really like a chicken and a duck
"have u eaten?"

coz he says his own thing

so after tt day he said he can hear perfectly fine
we all totally just let him be
i kept telling mama tt she has to stop talking to him and make him go wear the hearing aid
its for his own good.. seriously.. esp if he is outside.... ppl honk him then how?

so as usual mama said if she dun reply him he will "scold" her.. which is true la

i told her if in the first place, she just ignored him
then he would have learn his lesson and wear the hearing aid whether he likes it or not

and i also told mama, why make herself suffer esp she has to be on repeat mode, and keep shouting and screaming and he still cannot hear
