If u remember, sometime back I mentioned abt this nice old lady whom I was invited to have a short chit chat session with
her advise is go join other events not just makan coz since after attending so many such events, I dun get to find HIM

well, she called me again
and said there is this guy whom she thinks is not a bad guy and asked me whether want to meet bo
so I said "why not? no obligations rite?"
and she said "of course. just come out and make new friends. u never know whether is he the one or not until u all meet up and talk mah"

so after seeking the guy's permission whether is he OK to meet me
and it was a deal!!

a blind date was set
he smsed tt very nite (thur) and then I said "ok lets meet on sat then"
no time to wait... chop chop settle it

then why not Friday u may ask
coz I want to go to my gym class mah.. skip on week le
and I have been like eating myself silly last last weekend so better go work it out and sweat it out

he is the only son with 3 sisters before him
so u can tell how precious he is
he went to study in NZ came back work in private sector.   i think he studied accountancy or something like tt.  6 yrs ago went to work in IRAS
so what does he do?
he asked ppl "why u no pay taxes? please pay"
and then ppl will give 101 reasons and try not to pay and he will put up their request for them la
good rite?!!
so tts his job.. ask me more I also dun know le

and then as he is the only and youngest son
he is currently staying with him 80 plus parents
papa is bed ridden and mama as solid as a rock
sisters all married and have children le
and their children have children too
so he is a great grand uncle?

then he currently has no religion
so he sometimes go temple sometimes go church
he went to SJI?? or was it st Andrew??

as she was quite unstable (coz she old woman mah), this another lady went forward to hold her and guide her to the seat

is to get an education so tt when they come out to the society, they can find a good job and support themselves and their family one day

I went espirit shopping on sat
this lady behind me asked me "do u want to use my card and enjoy the 10% discount?"
I looked at her with unbelievable eyes "u want me to use?"
"why not" she replied
I smiled at her and said "thank you"

frankly, how many of us will offered our discount cards to others and let them enjoy the discount too?

me personally I wont....

went to a 2nd pri school gathering on fri
this time was with the elite classes
class 6A and 6B and me the 6C lor

heard so many updates from them
and I just felt I am so out of the place
hehehe


"which sec school u went to after PSLE? then where next? what r u doing?"
these are the questions being posed to each one of us...

as I was not from the elite classes, so nobody really cares abt where I went or what am I doing la

seemed like everybody went to elite sec school wor
temasek sec, tkgs, tk tech, dunman, Anglican
and then next stop is temasek jc, tampines jc and vjc
then next stop is either NUS or NTU

and they were all laffing and asking "u were in NXX meh? why I dun know u r my school mate? never see u there before. blah blah blah"
frankly, who cares abt me in which poly and what the heck tt I do rite
duh

anyway I have to say
frankly and honestly it was an enjoyable nite, talking to long lost friends
some I totally have no idea who the hell they are
probably saw before in school but coz they are in the top class, most probably just Hi and then Bye

and of course I also met my pri school sweet heart
too bad, he does not seemed to remember anything
hahaha
so be it bah
we have all moved on

all have become "successful" in life
happy working and also happy family

live in big houses and drives fancy cars

and I wonder to myself.. "what have I been doing?"
