dad told us "u 2 go and arrange...i dun want to know. u 2 just go and settle it"

i "donate" the money and leave the work to the others
which is sister and mama

so now sister is planning the menu with the little one and then reconfirm with mama
and then u can hear the irritating voice behind "dun buy this... dun want tt lah....dun waste money, we prepare ourselves......dun buy ice cream lah, not many want to eat........buy wine......blah blah blah"

almost want to tell him if he lets us handle it then he should just shut up
and if he wants to contribute his ideas then he go and do it himself

just now on the way home in the bus
i saw this young boy with tattoos on both of his arms
quite mean looking, muscular young boy
and then next moment, when he took out his hdp
i almost *faint*
it has an elmo as his hdp strap!!!

apparently the residents there said tt they have reported similar incidents before to town council
but no action was taken
and a smart alec from town council (who was being interviewed) said tt "if we knew it was from tt unit, we would have taken action. but we did not know which unit was doing tt" (this was what i interpreted)

so unprofessional....."if we knew....if we knew...."
come on lor....."if i know the 4D 1st prize no. i will have place my bet and now i would be at home shaking leg lor. if i know....."
very good to use......but its simply "pushing the blame away"
but too bad, unacceptable.....coz to me, its irresponsible......

they have to station one or 2 staff there and monitor the situation
always dun want to action and when things happened then action, for what?

just like tt time the railings at the staircase
residents already complained abt the railing
but no action
its only when the little girl fell thru it, the VERY next day, the railing was fixed
there is a saying lor "never leave today's work till tomolo"

i remember many many donkey years ago
the air con unit from one of the unit above us kept dripping
and it splashed on to the window panes and the water splashed into the room
ok, though its small droplets, but the windows were wet and the carpet were wet too
and then during the night, the "drip drip drip" noise was very disturbing....cannot sleep lor
my parents called up town council and was told to call HDB
so we called HDB and was referred to town council
so it was a merry go round (sounds familar)
it was only until my dad threatened to call the mp up, then did one of the dept (can't remember was it TC or HDB) send one of their staff to station himself at the flat opposite us to monitor the situation and also at the same time try to see which unit was causing us the inconvenience......

though end of the day, we did not managed to find the culprit
but i tell u this is what i called professional lor

at least action is taken....see already also shuang

well, all i can say is the ppl nowadays too complacent le.....

DON'T BLAME ME

ok, i know i took over the stuff
so i am responsible for it

but i already clarified tt the thing is not done by me
i was only given the stuff and instructed to follow up on it after it was completed and vetted by 2 ppl!!!!!
2 ppl ok....not nobody!!!

so when things need to be done, amendments need to be carry out, just let me know and i will gladly do it for u
no question ask....
BUT pls do not put the blame on me.........

DUN OWE U ANYTHING

last evening, mum and i were in the dining room, she was reading her papers and i was watching show
in the living room, my dad was watching his korean show

and then suddenly, out of the blue...we only heard my sister screaming at her top of her lungs (ok, exaggerated...coz the house is small....so her voice is loud) *ahem*

anyway, after few screaming sessions and curiousity got the better of me
i went into the room
before i stepped into the room, i could hear my sister screaming again
then when i finally stepped into the room, i realised tt they were playing a pc game and the little one was slow in helping her

as usual, i cannot tolerate what i saw and i shouted at her (ok, i just raised my voice a little lah. know, my voice, very loud de)
"u r only playing a game lor. why must u shout at her? she does not owe u anything ok."
"she is so stupiak. she dun know"
"if u are smart, then dun ask her to help u. play by urself. she dun owe u anything to let u scold her like tt"
diam diam

and after few mins, the sister spoke nicely to the little one
not so excited as she was before
and i think given some more time, the little one seemed to get a hang of the game and played much better
and this time the sister went "wait lah. so fast for what?"

WEAR THIS WEAR THAT WEAR WHAT?

mum was packing just now
and came into the room "hey! do u want these clothings? i just washed them. u can wear them to hokkaido"

i took a look at what the clothings were and went "dun want lah. t shirts i have"
"no. u can wear the t shirts over the long sleeves top and then wear ur sweater"
"i got a lot of t shirts, i dun want t shirts" i went
"no.. u listen. u wear the t shirts over the long...." she repeated herself
and i also repeated my self "ma! i already said i got t shirts myself why want o wear sister's?"

then she took out a long sleeve top and went "what abt this?" u can wear it under ur t shirt?"
"ma!! long sleeves i also have. dun need this. all i need is thicker sweaters"
"no need wear so thick lah. wear so thick for what? this one enough le. and the short sleeve t shirts"
"ma!! its under 0 degrees!! what u mean wear long sleeve under the t shirt is enough to keep me warm. u want to freeze me to death"

"ai yo!! who asked u to choose such a period to go?"
"mum!! i have been to cold countries before. its ok. long sleeves i have, t shirts i have. all i need is the thicker outer wear. u just have to find the red and light blue ck sweaters for me. and the jacket. my scarf and the hat and the gloves and the socks. dun need to bring it out now lah. do it in jan"

ppl said "fishing can train your patience"
coz fishing takes time........
the fishes does not get hooked the moment u throw in ur bait
u got to wait and wait and wait........

last sun, i was telling dear this
"dear, actually hor, i should asked esther to go fishing one day with hubby"

"well, u see, they said fishing must be patient.....so only the patient ppl can fish lor.... so when the 2 of them go fishing together, they will eventually find out who is the more patient one, and who can tolerate the other nonsense more. spend quality time together......and who knows, can know each other more"
