some one told me this story last evening

there was this monk, who happened to be walking pass a river and saw a girl crying very bitterly
"y r u crying?"
"my boyfriend whom i loved very dearly decided to leave me forever"...sob sob sob
"well, fine lady, please dun cry anymore...think of it this way....its not ur lost.......u did not lose ur loved one BUT it is HIM who lost some one who loved him dearly in this world"

guessed sometimes u just have to see things from another angle.....

PAPER TALK

sister was complaining to dad abt having to work till now in the bedroom sending emails and doing up her slides for presentation
and she said she is very tired

dad commented to her which i also agreed
ppl paid u how much, u got to work how much or even more for tt amt they paid her
and if she has gotten a "paper" AKA degree or better cert
she would be "enjoying" life now...AKA better working life
"its all paper talk now. u have nobody to blame. if u have thought abt it last time and studied hard"

then dad went into the room and told sister "if i have money, i will give u the money to open your own company.... remember what uncle seng yen said .....he said u have the potential....blah blah blah"

fine..i know..i am always not the well liked one...and so be it
always tell them tt sister is the pearl on the palm...they said they treat both their children equally
equal my foot!!

as if i care.....
used to it le...
makes no different
end of the day, u happy, she happy, they happy, all happy can le
who cares whether i happy or not

FEELING THE HEAT

how should i put it
erm... i have been feeling the heat these few days
not becoz of the weather
but becoz of work

i was informed tt i must be seen "actively involved" in a particular project
but i thought i am already participating actively
still no enough?
then what must i do to be seen "actively involved"
*stressed*

seriously, i am trying my best to cope with all the projects assigned to me
and in my humble opinion, i think i am more involved in this particular project than the others
*opps*
of course, i do try to prioritise my work
u know as in, in terms of urgency, which one needs to be flushed out asap from the list.....
and frankly speaking, this particular project is always on my top priority
sigh
and i was informed tt i need to be seen "actively involved"
then i also dun know how le

was telling dear abt it
and he told me "do one big project better than do many many small ones rite?"
and i said "but if only do one big one...then i dun get to see other ppl...365 days see the same faces...sian lor"
"how many faces u want to see?" he asked me
"serious lah. now i very serious with u. no joke"
"i not joking with u lor. u got see i laff or not? how many male faces u want to see?"
sigh..men!! they just dun get it....

anyway, i thought over it
will give it my best shot
but i dun want to lose any of my existing projects
i want to be able to handle all.....including the additinal assignments....
my babies.....
though K told me, if i really cannot handle, do let him know.....he will speak to V and then re arranged my projects

i dun wished for tt day to come....though dear did gave me a proposal to consider my options
do one big one...and then hold on to one small one....
its ok de....coz the big one is too big to take on too many small ones.....

NOT EASY

looks like to be the world's tallest is not tt easy after all

second breakdown...then water leaks.....next is what.....????

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

attended carrot and esther's wedding on 28th feb....
chap goh mei....(15th day of the cny)

hm.....
i supposed....no experienced therefore hicups here and there

i was tasked to be the receptionist with 4 other friends of theirs
in the end, only me and the other girl
and a part time one....
sigh
we tried our best to allocate all the guest from the guest list
but it was a big challenge!!!

it was like :-
"hi, friends of groom or bride?"
"BLAH"
"know BLAH from?"
"XXX"
scrolled down the list and try to locate XXX and then "may i know ur name pls"
"ZZZ"
"oh, u r table AA"
"ok. thanks"
"do u want to write some wishes for the couple?"
"do i give the ang pao here?"
"yes...let me help u"

this whole thing just repeat over and over again.....

then zhuang was supposed to be the chinese mcee
but turned out tt the ang mo one wanted to do impromptu speech and not follow the script
and my dear friend explained tt it would be difficult for her as vocab is limited
but the ang mo refused to follow the script
so my dear friend, who is not a save oil lamp, decided tt she will not be the impromptu chinese mcee and told them to get another one to replace her

so angry lor
not her
but me
seriously, zhuang went to set her hair and all and ended up.....no mcee role for her
what is this?
and then since script was given why not just follow....some ppl just cannot take instruction is it??

she claimed tt she cannot read from script
omg!!
blind????

anyway, the groom and bride did not make arrangement for the sisters to meet up one fine day and go thru the whole process or at least let us know each other better mah
anyway, its over....and thank god everything was under control and everybody were very HAPPY!!

there was this funny incident
when the couple were asked to go on stage to pop the chamgpage
the groom was busy shaking the champagne and then the moment it was popped
he poured the champagne himself
hahahaha
i almost faint lor
i thought normally, the couple will pour the champagne together
no??
well...as long as they happy..... =))

carrot was the last one from our sec grp to be married
so i guess tts all
no more weddings to attend le....
=))
so happy tt everyone is happily married

just want to wish all my lovely and wonderful friends....a happy, blessed and blissful marriage!!

SO WHAT??

there was a shouting session at work last fri
and i tell u
so steady lor

i was sitting in my little far away land
when i heard a guy's voice shouting at one of my coll
and i was like "who the hell is this guy who dare to scold my coll"
and i being the kapo one, stood up and took a peep
along came a coll showed me the "hush hush" sign
and i quickly took the cue and sat down........

u know what happened?
it was a shouting session b/w small boss and staff.....hm....
"JUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTION!!"
steady rite

few mins later
the shoutings got louder and ended up at boss's cubicle
staff explained tt if no basis she won't follow
and small boss made some remarks....
then boss told the small boss to hush hush after the staff stormed out of the office

sigh....
seriosuly, do we have to work until like this.......
shout to get things done....
i personally felt tt its not necessary rite?

can u imagine, if it happened to me one fine day.....
think i will send in the white flag lor
work until so unhappy...what for...
but luckily, today, everything back to normal....
