LIFE IS SHORT

yesterday morning, i woke up suddenly and my heart beat very quickly
its like i have just finished a very tedious exercise
dun know why...no explanation.....

so i woke up, waved goodbye to the little one (she is on her way to school)
i just do my usual stuff but i dun feel really tt good

while waiting for the bus, my poly friend sms me
someone who does not sms me very frequently
and i was like "hm..."
anyway, she asked me abt another poly classmate name
and i told her i m not very sure (coz i was not tt closed with tt classmate)
she told me to look at the obiturary section, as she is not sure whether is she
the one
i came to office, found the papers
and WA KAO!!!!!!!!

seriously, i was like......*speechless*
she is ard the same age as me....37......
still single
worked her way up there to be a manager of a firm....
and most impt of all, she is planning for her wedding.....
why huh???!!?

life is tt short meh?
i mean, is tt why ppl said life each day to its fullest and do what u need to do
for tt day, dun leave it to the next day or find one day...coz tt day might not
come afterall.........

suddenly, i think think think, is it why i have been so depressed and low morale
for the past week.....coz something is gg to happen???!!??
i dun know....but the events just managed to link together

i think.....i have reached another point in my life...
really got to relook at my life again......
yesterday, the taiwanese talk show
the host was saying (abt r/s), women like to take their time to know the
partners well....but bear this in mind, when u start to peel the onions layer
by layer, by the end of the last layer, u will realised tt the onion has
"no heart"......so dun bother to know so much into the
details....just enjoy the process and the sweetness of the onion soup......

i totally do agreed........

so friends, any time, any date, any venue....if want to meet up, i will make
myself available for U.......coz i might not have the chance to do so
again.....

and of course, i love my family, and will spend more QUALITY time with them

and also, i love my dearest old man....no matter how mad he made me or i made
him......*arm chio*

ok, i love my enemies too....... *evil*

and most imptly, I LOVE MYSELF too!!!!

THROW TEMPER

"i will be gg for my course later. can u help me follow up on these"

"not sure need clearance or not. i send email ask le, u just follow up for

next day, when i on my pc
wa kao!!
need clearance
so mad rush
threw temper..... wa say!!!
is it my fault?
said i did not ask her to follow up
great!! swee!!
then asked how come i did not check properly and why tt guy did not advise
properly
seriously, how would i know... i have not done it before....

seriously, why ppl like to throw temper??
i dun know....frankly, can throwing a temper solve ur problem?? i absolutely dun
think so
it just made the matter worst, no problem solved, and make both parties mood
very lousy and total a waste of time to stay angry with each other
hm...is tt why i seldom throw temper?? hehehe...or was i trained by the fishing
trips....

anyway, she helped me solved the problem at the end....and i managed to do what
i planned to do.....

but, is it my fault??
old man said i should not trust anyone
but...erm...its work leh....how can dun trust
and also the assignment is tasked to both her and me lor...
she won;t sabo me de
i know...i just know...
is tt why man and woman are different???

STUDY TIME

gg for a 14 days course and then gg to take a MCQ exam.....hehehe

sigh
so many yrs no study le
dun know how it will be....

and i am still planning to go take masters.....
sigh
better think twice....
not gg to be easy
but, if this one is ok, maybe i can really start to plan abt my masters.......

and best part is, my covering is on leave today
and i haven hand over.....swee....

TASTE OWN MEDICINE

ARRRGGGGHHHHHH

i dropped my bb on the floor
wa lao eh!!
really heart pain lor
butter fingers
though it landed on carpet floor, but then, still heart pain leh....

and when i smsed old man to inform him (just to test tt my hdp is still in good
working condition) he replied "dropped on the floor just pick it up lor
:P"
steady lor....very swee....wait till he drops something, then i will used it
back on him.....

the other day, he asked me to help "pull" him up from the bed
so i did what he did to me previously, i just put my hands on his hands
then wait for him to pull himself up....
then he got angry.....said he will not forget tt very fateful day
then i reminded him tt he did tt to me before and i am just letting him taste
back his own medicine lor.....
still he was angry with me...swee lor
can do on others but not the other way
where got like this de... (i told him this...but he just plain angry....maybe he
just woke up from his sleep)

anyway, dun really bother la
frankly, if u dun want ppl to do it on u, then dun do it to others first......

NOT DELIBERATELY ONE

erm....i did not mean it lor
last time the hdp will flash flash flash when someone called
this BB does not do tt, and hor, i turned on to silence mode when i am in
office
therefore i won;t know tt someone is calling me
and hor, my friend angry with me.....said i have changed
sigh!!

pls forgive me....told me this was the 3rd time i treated him like this.....sigh
and if i do it again ...he will not call me anymore

said he can forgive me the 1st time coz i did not know his number therefore
refused to answer the call
but 2nd time he said he called, got missed call, and i dun return his call
but hor, i want to confess here, i dun remember seeing a missed call lor
if have, i will definitely call back de
hm.....

are all guys like this?
coz my old man also like this....
i remembered once i went out with my family and thus no bring hdp
then he was so angry with me
though i explained tt i seldom bring hdp out when i am with my family
and i came back and called him immediately mah
so he said next time cannot like this.....

i have the habit of switching off my hdp when i am charging my hdp
and then so heng, old man called and couldn't get me
angry again

seriously, i told him tts how i charged my hdp all these yrs.....and he cannot
blame me mah
and hor, he seldom call me de
so he just heng to call me when i charging hdp lor

hm...i will only be angry if after numerous calls, no returned call
or maybe, perhaps, i have not encounter such situation before....so now easy for
me to say NOW...*evil*

BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIP

NO OVERPOWERING

Many relationships fail because one party tries to overpower another, or demands
too much. People in love tend to think that love will conquer all and their
spouses will change the bad habits after marriage. Actually, this is not the
case. There is a Chinese saying which carries the meaning that 'It is easier to
reshape a mountain or a river than a person's character.'

It is not easy to change. Thus, having high expectation on changing the spouse

prosper or ruin a nation.' Many relationships break off because of wrong
speech. When a couple is too close with each other, we always forget mutual
respect and courtesy. We may say anything without considering if it would hurt
the other party.

A friend and her millionaire husband visited their construction site. A worker
who wore a helmet saw her and shouted, 'Hi, Emily! Remember me? We used to date
in the secondary school.' On the way home, her millionaire husband teased her,
'Luckily you married me. Otherwise you will be the wife of a construction
worker.' She answered,'You should appreciate that you married me. Other wise,

PERSONAL PERCEPTION

Different people have different perception. One man's meat could be another
man's poison. A couple bought a donkey from the market. On the way home, a boy
commented, 'Very stupid. Why neither of them ride on the donkey? 'Upon hearing
that, the husband let the wife ride on the donkey. He walked besides them.
Later, an old man saw it and commented, 'The husband is the head of family. How
can the wife ride on the donkey while the husband is on foot?' Hearing this,
the wife quickly got down and let the husband ride on the donkey.

Further on the way home, they met an old Lady. She commented, 'How can the man
ride on the donkey but let the wife walk. He is no gentleman.'
The husband thus quickly asked the wife to join him on the donkey. Then, they
met a young man. He commented, 'Poor donkey, how can you hold up the weight of
two persons. They are cruel to you.' Hearing that, the husband and wife
immediately climbed down from the donkey and carried it on their shoulders.

It seems to be the only choice left. Later, on a nar row bridge, the donkey was
frightened and struggled. They lost their balance and fell into the river. You
can never have everyone praise you, nor will everyone condemn you. Never in the
past, not at present, and never will be in the future.

Thus, do not be too bothered by others words if our conscience is clear..


BE PATIENT

This is a true story which happened in the States. A man came out of his home to
admire his new truck. To his puzzlement, his three-year-old son was happily
hammering dents into the shiny paint of the truck. The man ran to his son,
knocked him away, hammered the little boy's hands into pulp as punishment. When
the father calmed down, he rushed his son to the hospital.

Although the doctor tried desperately to save the crushed bones, he finally had
to amputate the fingers from both the boy's hands. When the boy woke up from
the surgery & saw his bandaged stubs, he innocently said, 'Daddy, I'm sorry
about your truck.' Then he asked, 'but when are my fingers going to grow back?'
The father went home & committed suicide.

Think about this story the next time someone steps on your feet or u wish to
take revenge. Think first before u lose your patience with someone u love.
Trucks can be repaired.. Broken bones & hurt feelings often can't. Too
often we fail to recognize the difference between the person and the
performance. We forget that forgiveness is greater than revenge.

People make mistakes. We are allowed to make mistakes. But the actions we take
while in a rage will haunt us forever.
