ppl complaining tt A got grade X and B got grade Y and dun understand why they only got Z
cheong into boss's room and demanded an acceptable reason
wise man shaked head and said "ok, i have a list of projects here, rated from almost impossible to chicken feet, if i would to tell u, ur grading will depend on which project u choose and undertake, would u choose the almost impossible one or the chicken feet? bearing in mind tt if u can run the almost impossible project with minimum guidance and smoothly from pre to post contract stage, ur grading will definitely be top in the list, and vis versa for chicken feet project, which one will u choose?"
and then ppl finally see the light....its not how good u can run the show...but how good u can handle the complex project....
so dun go ard complaining tt u deserve the promotion and not xxx or yyy, coz did u undertake the almost impossible project or the chicken feet one?

CLOSED UP SESSION

today had a 1 to 1 closed up session with big boss
hm...everybody was excited to have this session with her
but i was like immune???!!??
i mean just talk mah. what so special?

anyway, she finally came and called me for a session today
think i was lucky coz today most of them went over to the other side for a talk
so office not left with many staff for her to have the session

i was asked whether am i happy here = of course i am...in terms of work, colls, bosses...not the engineers though (ok la, not all tt irritating, some are nice ppl)
happy with work = seriously, though i get to do more work over here, but, i am fine with it...coz i dun really like to run the projects, i rather check on ppl's work....lolz...so doing the ecas to me are still ok, JUST DUN ASK ME TO WRITE PAPER!!!
any problem encounter at work = so far so good. but still need to brush up on human skills...u know as in handling the "crazy" ppl and controlling my fiery temper with them
i was told tt eventually the manager looking over me for a particular project will be phased out and i will be regarded as the LEAD for the project. *scary lor* i think i must really buck up on this.....big boss said i can send emails and keep her in the loop, so that the project team will know tt they better dun hanky panky ard...lolz
i have to be super sensitive with this grp of ppl i was told "culture they are in and the culture we are in are different. they just do what they feel like doing and we must be there to set the records rite" steady lor....i am now police officer....kekeke
and finally, i was tasked another assignment...swee.....well done!! and big boss still asked me "ok? ok or not? can?" really want to reply her "u mean can choose?" lolz
ok, bad joke...

after the session, big boss was busy typing away and few mins later, i saw the review
she said tt i am learning the ropes and i am someone who dares to voice out what i think...omg!! good or bad???!!!??
hm...then i gathered from someone tt i should have asked her how big boss viewed me.....
which i thought, its very valid...at least i know where i am being rated in my big boss's pt of view....
as the saying goes "there's always room for improvement"

i completed another hk serial on thur nite...
watched till 330am....keke
actually, the show ended ard 2 plus...i watched tv until 330am then went to kun

woke up at 9 plus....and then touch here touch there
and back to kun again......
(ps dear went fishing on his own)
he called me ard 5 plus to pick me up and we went for KFC dinner and a movie....(PRINCE OF PERSIA)
then he send me back and i kun again........all the way to sat morning....

then the whole family went for dim sum lunchie...
(ps dear went to attend his coll's wedding...he was nominated by the groom to be one of his bro)
after lunchie, we came home and i kun again.......hahaha.....damn tired lor
then dear picked me up at 5 plus....since his mum not at home, we decided to go eat buffet at merchant court
but as usual he was busy playing his pc game, we left the house ard 8 plus...reached merchant court already last order lor
so ended up we had jap food at THE CENTRAL
so so nia...not very fantastic
then went home and kun again.........lolz
sleeping beauty leh..... =))

sun woke up ard 10 plus, went to check out the new fishing ground at kranji
sunny when we left home, rainning when we reached there
haha
so we route back to yishun for fishing.......
fished till 6pm...no luck
and went home, washed up and proceed to trader's hotel for buffet

ya, u r rite...die die also must eat buffet....
also so so nia...nothing fantastic..it was local and asian buffet
so not much seafood though....
but ok lah...what more u expect rite?

M: why? ok what?
D: u come here eat bao? i can buy from the coffee shop near my place lor

today is eat dinner with ur family day
i presumed most of the companies in singapore worked till 530pm........

so i think there is a draw coming up and few of them went to buy a little luck
as usual, i just stood there and wait...
a coll commented, "hey. i really admired u leh."
"why?" i asked
"coz i observed tt u are never tempted to buy even though majority of us bought"
and i replied "this one got what so good to admire de. wait till the whole grp of us go shopping. all buy and i no buy then u admire me still not too late"

seriously, frankly, in my own humble opinion, this $$$$ can save de....can dun spend....

last weekend, over heard a conversation b/w a mother and her daughter regarding the granddaughter
apparently, i think the granddaughter did not score too well in one of her subject and....
"why u never thought of having tuition for her?"
"xxxx" coz i dun know what the other party said over the phone
"tell u, listen to mama. this kind of $$$ cannot be save de. must spend one. u see, last time, no matter how difficult, i also make sure tt all my children get proper education. tts the most i can give u guys. nothing le. so listen to me. get a tutor for her. the foundation must be laid properly. cannot just let it be de. if she is my daughter, i tell u, i would have caned her."

then they were like statutes...all also no move, though only open mouth to complain

then i noticed something odd
how come this gf of mine has so many outings pic and none has her hubby inside
so out of curiousity (in short, KPO), i send her a message just to make sure all is in order......(KPO just say so lor..)
anyway, it took her a few days to reply me with "alot of co outings recently, dun go wasted...blah blah blah" so i interpreted tt all is ok....no worries

just yesterday, i chanced upon another gf's FB
and saw her status... thought she trying to be funny or what
so this time, i send another gf's a message to check it out
and turned out....she is not trying to be funny

so sad!!

i witnessed this during dinner today

this guy and perhaps his gf bah or maybe someone he is chasing after
they were sitting at the table next to me
the guy was looking at the girls' nokia 97 hdp
and was commenting tt the hdp very high tech, blah blah blah
and then suddenly "how much i chip in for this hdp?"
and the girl went "dun have"
and the guy went "have lah. i got pay a bit"
then the girl said "i got return u the money. so u never chip in"
then the guy gave her a look and went "i got chip in. all ur hdps i got chipped in. and u sure u got return me the money?"
and then kua kua kua......apparently, perhaps the girl did returned the $$ to the guy, but the guy no accept

anyway, its not abt chipping in for the 3 sets of hdp
but the guy's food came first
and then the guy waited
the girl told him to "eat first"
then the tou fu came
and the girl ate a bit and said "i like this. very nice"
and the guy told her "u like u eat more lor" and the girl just continued to eat
and then finally, he said "i eat first. urs very long"
then the girl said "ok u go ahead"
then hor, the guy let the girl "tax" abit of his curry chicken bah
and the girl said "nice"
and then when the girl's food finally came
the guy simply transferred the curry chicken to her
and the girl said "dun want. u eat urself"
and the guy went "its ok. u eat"
then the girl also transferred some of her food to the guy
but the guy said "dun want. u eat lah dun give me"
and then i started to ponder.....

STUPIAK PORRIDGE

ok maybe its my fault
but is it always mine??

dear does not like to eat porridge
except for one kind which his mama cooked
to me its "mixed porridge"
it has everything inside
duck meat, scallop, veg, century eggs and the oyster or mussel ( dun know which is which)
but whatever it is, i eat practically everything except for tt shelled creature
so whenever his mama cooked tt, i dragged.......why??
coz sure got something to argue abt de
not tt i want to start it

1st time when his mama cooked
i removed all that shelled creature and passed it to him
his mama said "wow!! good food. u dun know how to eat? my son loves it"
its not a matter of know or dun know how to eat. its i dun like to eat.
dun know and dun like is 2 different thing
and surely, non of us like to be "critise" over something u dun like to eat
u like to eat, is u like to eat, i dun like to eat is i dun like to eat, but i dun stop u from eating, neither should u force me to eat

as simple as tt
but whatever is it, i just diam diam eat my food and of course, being unhappy
but its ok,why?
coz i always kana ppl say de "choosy, fussy, dun know how to eat. miss all the good food. are u a sgrean?"

2nd time and then after we ate, dear grew smarter, i was allowed to scoop my own share
and i happily did it...why?
coz i can dun scoop the shelled like creature
and i was eating my food happily

one fine day, we went fishing
dear's ta bao the porridge
and wa kao!!
opened my share, got the shelled creature!!
omg!! *thunder strike*
immediately i knew i will kana BIG TIME
i ate everything except for *ahem*
and i asked him to eat the *ahem* since i dun eat
he insisted tt i have to eat them all
and i simply refused
then he scolded me say i bring home sure like mama scold
as if its mine fault
come on lor......
anyway, he ate them for me

and the most recent case was last sat
after fishing, dear said mama not home so no dinner
we gg out for dinner...and we sort of deciding what to eat and all
went home, whole pot of porridge
so dear said we have to eat in since mama cooked so much
so i said ok, coz we haven really decide on what to eat and i dun feel like cracking my head over dinner
anyway i am ok de, no issue as long as no shelled creature

and who knows......sigh
this time, the bowl of porridge was full of duck bones.........
dear removed all the *ahem* for me already...*so sweet of him*
but the whole bowl of poridge was filled with bones
ok, maybe i exaggerated
not every mouthful had bones, but can u imagine how troublesome how "painful" it is to eat the porridge SLOWLY....to make sure tt ur tongue run throw the porridge to make sure tt ITS OK to swallow down

half a bowl later, i declared tt i dun want to eat the porridge any more
and dear said "no. u got to finish it. coz i am full"
and i explained i dun want to eat anymore, coz very troublesome
and he insisted tt i got to finish it, if not mama will scold
and i was like "huh? whose theory?" and then i threw a temper
"i dun want to eat anymore. every mouthful also got bone. eat already very "xin ku" and i am very unhappy" threw the spoon into the bowl
dear gave me a look and said "eat lah. be good"
and i said "no way"
and then he said "fine, then i will throw it away"
he took the bowl and threw the porridge away
and i sat there and sulk

both refused to speak to each other
until few mins later he said to me "if u hungry u go cook noodle urself"
and i went "i won't be hungry de lah"

anyway, i sort of discover, these few times, dear very quick and hot temper with me
every little thing, he like blast away
i told him tt he has changed. he always like to scold me now over small issues

he was the one who caused the "injuries" to the fish lor
kept dropping it
but i guessed, he just bo liao bah
coz he has no rod of his own.....while his elder bro got one....
so i guessed, he just have to find things to entertain himself......

CRAVING TIME

yesterday evening after dinner, dear suggested to go shopping!!!

just nice...can go buy my top.....

i bought a top and dear got his jeans
so happy

and came upon a jewellery shop
and dear went "hey! tt time u said u wanted tt necklace, which design was it?"
"dear, i dun want le"
"why dun want? thought u said very nice, u want."
"dear, when i said i want, i want it there and then, so long le, forget it lah"
"ok, then next time, when u tell me u want something, i shall wait for awhile then get for u, coz by tt time, u also dun want le, then i dun need to buy, save money"

seriously, to me, in my own humble opinion, its like u have a sudden craving, so u must have it there and then, if not, how to kun peacefully at nite, rite?
drag until one week later, then still no have, then no pt having it le
cravings all gone....

take for example, few weeks ago, i had craving for B&J ice cream
so i requested for it
dear gave me a look which i interpreted as he not interested
so i said "ok lah. dun eat B&J. its ok" *depressed*
though he did volunteered to get one tub for me on the way home from the petrol kiosk which we would be passing by after fishing
but i was thinking to go to S313 to eat....
anyway, since he not interested so be it, i dun force it on him
coz i also dun want to eat with someone's whose face is as black as the charcoal
or worst, constant nagging from someone when i am enjoying something which i badly craved for
so ended up, after few weeks of requesting for it, and the reply is "no", i settled for the uncle's on motor cycle ice cream
though its not what i really wanted, but to me, better than nothing

the next few weeks, after fishing, he kept asking me "let's eat ice cream."
and my reply to him is always "dun want"
and then he asked me yesterday "why u dun want to eat ice cream? u have been asking me for a few times leh"
"but dear, no craving how to eat?"

and take sat evening for example
mum's not cooking (again)
and we decided to go out for dinner
as he is the choosy type, as usual, i let him decide "u driving. so u decide ok"
he said "lets go eat crab! u want the AMK one or the eunos one?"
"hm...dear both also dun want can"
"why? u like to eat crab rite? and i am thinking to bring u eat"
"but dear, i dun have craving how to eat?"

so ended up.....we went to the hotel near his place for buffet
but dun know heng or sway, the food was limited so dear decided we go else where
but as it was already 9 plus, i told him, dun bother to go far far place coz later end up everywhere is closing when we reached there
so we went to the nearby seafood rest (also near his place)....something with a ming and a kee one.... *evil grin*
ordered fish maw soup, black pepper deer meat and a oyster sauce veg, 2 drinks and total bill came up to $54
wa kao!!
really not worth it~!!!
the food also so so nia.....
a bit heart ache....but then....who else to blame but ourselves lor
coz who ask us so late then go for dinner.....so ended up not much choice...
and dear still can joked abt it "we are paying 20% more coz the table got red table cloth"

decided that i will compile a WHERE TO EAT scrap book
hahaha
will cut out articles or recommendations on where to eat
so in future, if i need to refer to it, hey presto!!! i will know where to head to.....
but...erm....i always say i will do it, but its been a long long time...and i haven even start on page 1......hehe

i was abit depressed and upset today
not becoz we went fishing
not becoz we did not watch iron man 2
not becoz we did not go shopping
BUT becoz while fishing today, i saw a BLOATED DEAD CAT floating from the canal into the big open sea

WTF!!

first thing tt came into my mind...who killed the cat!!
i mean.....who could have done such a cruel thing???
but dear told me "the cat committed suicide. it jumped into the sea"
but but but...i thought they can swim just like dogs???!!??
i really dun buy what dear said.....but then i rather choose to believe what he claimed to be coz...it will be upsetting to know tt there is really a cold blooded murderer out there!!!
