MAY I HAVE THE SEAT, PLEASE?

"excuse me, can I have the seat. I am pregnant"
"oh, u r pregnant? but my leg is fracture. just removed the cast few weeks back... blah blah blah"

this is was happened on way to work in the train
this ang mo lady (AML) was requesting for a seat from the senior lady (SL) who was seating in the reserved seat
no wrong rite?  reserved seat mah.  attack tt seat first ....

so anyway what happened next, the lady beside the reserved seat stood up and gave up her seat to the aml
case closed rite?
NO LOR
the SL stood up too and rattled on and on abt her fracture leg and her operation
rattled and on and on from one station to another
and I tell u, the reserved seat nobody dare to sit as the SL no sit and the aml was reading her book, also no chup her rattling

morale of story?
preggie just diam diam and stand there wait for ppl to give up their seat? ll stand
fracture leg stay home dun go out during the peak hours where everybody is cheong-ing to work?

DUH
I told some of my coll abt the incident
and i got mixed reviews

"wa lao! why ask the sl to give up her seat?  reserved seat also for senior ppl de"
this statement sounded so wrong leh....reserved seat for ppl who need them mah... tio? bo tio?
"am very outspoken de hor, will fight for their rights de"
hm... i thought regardless of colours, we should all fight for our rights? tio? bo tio?
"she should ask someone else for the seat mah"
er....if she indeed ask for other seat, will the ppl be thinking "wa kao! y dun ask for the reserved seat instead"?
duh! hahaha
