was reading this chinese novel which i borrowed from library on mon
the male lead told the female lead
"can u pls stop this? why is it tt whenever u r happy, u cry but when u r sad, u put on a brave front and smile. i know u r very sad. why must u act happy?"
frankly, i understand why the female lead acted/reacted in such a manner
my reason is i dun want ppl to see me cry, see me at my most vuluerable stage. and since my tears cannot change anything to the outcome then why cry?
and her reason for doing so " my tears is to let the person knows tt how much hurt he is causing me. but since he dun feel sad or feel as hurt as me, then why should i bother to cry?
so why not choose to be happy and cry, rather than cry when sad leh???
