WAIT TILL WHEN?

today we went for lunch at katong 112 or is it 121 or 122!!!
hm...
ok whatever, u know where
and supposed to be eating shabu shabu
last min, decided to eat at this rest, CP (u go figure it out urself)

ok, anyway we got the Q number "4"
we waited for few mins and decided to go walk walk as the waitress promised "we will call u"
after few mins, no call, we decided to walk back and asked them, the waitress said "pls wait"
next moment q number "5, 6, 7 and 8" went in but not "4"
and so sis "3 fires lit up" cheong to the counter and asked

"what is ur q number?"
"i dun understand why ppl with Q no. after mine gets to go in first. and they are either 8 pax or 5 pax. why our 6 pax cannot go in and need to wait"
"let me check"
then a manager came out
and my sis still grumble on and on
and manager asked whats the problem
sis explained again
and then waitress explained to the manager
and then dun know what waitress said but confirmed she said "......i dun know"
and sis fired out "IF U DUN KNOW, THEN U DUN STAND HERE! HOW CAN U LET OTHERS BEHIND ME, GO IN FIRST JUST BECOZ THEY CAME AND "PRESSURISED" U.....ISN'T THERE NOT A SYSTEM. DUN TELL ME U DUN KNOW"
*faint*
and the manager quickly apologised and said he understand how my sis is feeling and "scolded" the waitress tt if customer has a Q number, its their duty and responsibilities to call and tell them tt the table is ready
then he tried to pacify sister and apologised
then sis also no save oil lamp, she rattled on tt its ok with her, but we have 2 old folks and a kid who are SO HUNGRY waiting for like 20 mins and seeing ppl gg in and not us!!!
and he again apologised and tried to pacify her

and guess what
when we walked into the rest, and showed our table, there were MANY empty tables INSIDE!!!
wtf!!
seriously, gimmick or what!!!!

anyway.........worth the "yuan wang" wait or not???!!??
NOT REALLY
food not say very fantastic, but okok lor....
norm la...
no special.....

but still got to thank the little one
coz hor, sis said the treat is to inform the little one tt "school holiday is over and she has to start studying hard again"

so far so good
she likes her school and is mixing well and doing ok
but yet to know who can be her BFF and also how her school work gg to be
=)
coz afterall, for the past 1 week, still orientation mah
lolz
she heng lor, no mid yr exams for sec 1 students
but she gg to have it during the final yr lor
coz she wont be able to gauge her standard (as in can make it or not) until the final exams results.....
