MY BIRTHDAY TREAT

u get to make ur own sauce before they bring in the soup base......

2 pairs of chopstick per person...on to "kiap" food, the other to eat

our imperial drunken chicken soup base

 "qian chen gao"....not bad...something different...got salted egg yolk......

 "dump" all the mushrooms, tou fu and sweet corn and intestine into the soup base

 liver...no no no for me...

 fried yam...inside got some "stuffing" dun know what. but tasted good....

 fried carrot cake

today we went to take family photos
sis bought a groupon for photo taking
considered cheap at S$25 for 10 photos....
so we all woke up early to go for our family photo shot scheduled at 945am at tan boon liat building

after the photo taking session
we went out for lunch
couldn't decide where to eat
sis wanted dim sum, but becoz they did not make reservation earlier, we would not get any dim sum rest to take us in
and then sis suggested gg for steamboat and bil was not in favour of gg for steamboat
but as he could not come out with an alt......steamboat we shall go........

steam boat lunch at triple one
total damage to sis's pocket...S$170 for 6 of us....
its was also my birthday treat.....

wonder how i eat right?

i have my trusty scissor with me......so i cut the food into small pcs and stuff into the mouth lor
actually sis said since cannot get dim sum, so we go eat western food
i said ok but she said dun want, coz we go high class place to eat western food and i use scissor to cut the food, so embarssing.......
so i told her i dun use the scissor, i can use the fork and knife to cut the food too
but she said dun want later troublesome for me....

well, anyway, we all enjoyed the meal
except tt i can see bil was abit pissed off, when sis suggested gg for seafood, and when dad insisted to "dump" all the intestines into the soup base and when the auntie just refill the soup, dad went to put in the liver and then dad went to order another plate of egg tart when all of us said NO NEED...sigh...faint can...

and i just quietly eat my food.......
