GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT
i forgotten all abt this trip to this buffet rest at the Killney Road with my 2 other coll(s)
so u can actually deduced tt there is nothing special i want to intro abt this rest
seriously, forget abt it lah
paying for tt kind of $$$$, u could have gone else where....
seriously, the place is not tt bad
just nothing fantastic abt it
normal food
but yy's friend told her "VERY GOOD. EAT UNTIL PENG SAN"
hm.........*pondering*
in fact, we ate until very TL
lolz
u know how i love to eat the steam egg
and this one hor, on the menu got a chef's tall hat lor
but one bite and i know CMI
it was so bland and tasteless lor although they were very generous with the ingredients which they steamed together with the egg lah
in the end, not to waste the food, i added soya sauce to it and finished it up
muahaahaha
very very si pai (failure)lor....
the sashimi was ok....not like the VERY best but "ok lor"
then we saw the shishamo ( the fish with the eggs inside the tummy one) looked very big and delicious in the photo
but when it came.......we were like "HUH!!!!" almost cannot see the 3 "tiny" fishes lor......
*shake head* damn disappointed
we ordered the mixed grilled
out of the 5 sticks, the lady fingers and the brinja
si bei cmi
it was RAW!! dun even look grilled
the other 3 sticks were the teriyaki chicken, salmon and another shishamo......
before this, we ordered the grilled shitakae mushroom
it was also a disappointment
grilled until no juice one
sigh
dry dry and ....dun know what to say lah..nothing to say anyway...

ALL IN A DAY"S WORK
was on course yesterday
so today when i arrived in the office, i started to clear emails (as usual) and then jot down the stuff tt i need to clear
and was "happily" doing my stuff when my small boss pm me and said "hello. meeting starting"
and i OMG!! dropped down everything and rushed to the meeting room
seriously, i totally forgotten abt the meeting, though i knew there was one....lolz
luckily big boss was talking with someone, so though i was the LAST ONE....i am still "safe"
meeting ended ard 12
and we headed for lunch....what did i clear or managed to do in the AM.......NOTHING
sigh
after lunch, i came back and rush rush rush........
wth
asked me what am i busy with......i also dun know
but all i know, i managed to do a bit of things here and a bit of stuff there
and then very happy

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
office gg to have pot luck this coming fri for the cny celebration
and i dun know what to do!!!
anyway, i took up YY's advice and decided to be in charge of the desserts and cocktail portion
she told me to either make the almond jelly or buy some can fruits and viola!!!
i got my desserts and cocktail
only problem is....where to get ice......
i dun want to be "ice maker" from tomolo onwards till fri lor.....
must go recee the 11 shop and check it out....

i asked dear for a second opinion
and guess what?
he also said the same thing
sigh....
anyway, think tts the easiest and fastest way to prepare the item
so i guess...tts it!!

or any other better and easier and convenient suggestion??

and then suddenly the guests were talking abt how her hubby proposed to her in the talk show
and as usual i went "dear, next time how r u gg to propose to me?"
and he played along with me "well, very simple de. u know me, like what u said i am very "low man tic" de....so i will ask u to marry me, then we go buy the rings then come back we will inform dearest mama and then she will say ok and then we will go your place and inform your parents. then we get marry. u know i dun have much friends, so won't be an elaborated affair.as simple as tt"
and i went "huh? just like tt? ppl said her hubby wore tuxedo and with a bouquet of flowers lor....ur proposal rejected. give u few mins to think and come back with a better one. ppl's hubby went to buy the ring himself lor"
"cannot. must bring u go choose de. later i buy already u dun like how? exp u know. must buy something u like" (wa lao!! all the guys the same is it? i remember qi's hubby also said tt when he wants to get her the wedding ring)
anyway, i went "ok lah. u go think. later i ask u"
i continued to watch the talk show and he played his pc game.
few mins later...during advertisement.."so how? think carefully le mah? tell me ur proposal"
"well, then i will wear a tuxedo and with a bouquet of flowers...and what else the guy did huh?"

AUSPICIOUS PIG OR DRAGON
watched the HK cny variety show
as usual, they have this segment where they will go thru all the 12 animals and tell u abt the pro and the cons in the new year and what u can do abt it
anyway, i did not really listen to what the master was saying
but all i know is tt those borned in the yr of the rabbit will need to carry along with them a auspicious item to ward away the evil...
2 items to choose from....either a pig or a dragon.......
hm.....so i guess this yr, u will be seeing me with lots of piglet items.....haha
yayaya, the pinky colour pig, friend of the yellow coloured bear....kekeke
or can anyone think of a cute cartoon character of a pig or a dragon....

but this yr, i decided not to, coz mama always will grumble and grumble
and also no home made stuff....(not like last time, i can buy from my coll whose mama makes delicious cny goodies and mooncakes too)
anyway, i decided to get one or 2 stuff just in case, ppl comes to our house and got nothing to munch on
as usual, its cny
so i will gave more $$ to my parents
i also did not annouced....i just give.....
coz i thought, tts what ppl will do
and moreover, its dad's birthday too
ok, to cut the long story short
this year, i am very disappointed
no. 1
i bought back the cny goodies, opened up and ate with my mama and the little one
ended up, few days later, my mama thought it was bought by my sister
kua kua kua
no. 2
sister gave an ang pao to papa for his birthday
dad was so happy and then he asked me "sister gave me ang pao. why u never give?"
damn tl lor
always want to come and talk to me abt money
buy tv, ask me for money
repair chair also ask me for money
want to go eat something when he has the craving, also ask me to give treat
i dun mind contributing, but is tt all i can do?
and why doesn;t he go ask sister for the money then...coz he knows tt she will not contribute
then where is fairness?
dun tell me no fairness in this world
(ok, true enough, life is never fair)
so i got pek chey
and told him to go look for his cfo coz i already given the money to her
and he still want to rub salt in the wound, "why must give to cfo and not to me?"
oh!!! please.......
every month the money goes to cfo lor
regardless of whether got festive season or not
so why this time must be special?
and must i annouced to the world at large........
this time, they really broke my heart......
for what?
i mean....
really "unsung heroes"
i dun mind, they think tt sister is always more superior than me
but....but pls dun treat me this way.....
it really breaks my heart
i told dear abt it
and he said its my own fault
coz i always want to diam diam abt the things tt i do
i cannot blame anyone
but i really dun feel tt we should be "bragging" abt it
dear said, we go out for big feast, i foot the bill and sister always get the credit...why?
coz sister knows how to shine at the right time
so i have no one to blame for myself.....

it has always been like this since young....tts why i dun ask for more
i just want someone to pamper me and loves me

HEART ACHE
on the 1st day of CNY
my precious armour fell ill.........
sigh.......
started with lao sai
and soon it was lao blood!!
ya, u no see wrongly, its blood
every 10 mins, he will lao and a big pool of blood will be flowing out
brought him to see the vet
coz its still cny, its considered as "emergency case" (whether u like it or not, $130goes to the vet even before ur pet gets to see her)
=))
why i did not study harder and be a vet......sigh
anyway, it was dianogised tt armour has intestine infection
and luckily we went to see the vet early
coz the vet said if its serious, it could lead to cancer!!!!!!!

anyway, he so poor boy
slim down alot
see already also heart pain
esp he does not want to eat or drink
and when he vomitted the medicine out
and then poo poo the blood
omg!!
almost want to cry lor......
there was this lady in the clinic with her cat
even before her pet gets to see the vet, she was already tearing away.... i see also heart pain

tonight for gg for reunion dinner

i was on a shopping spirit for the past 2 days
on wed, i bought 5 pairs of shoes and one dress and a wallet
total damage $280
(no worries, i got to throw away 5 pairs of shoes too) =))
and today, i bought one dress and 3 tops, some makeup
total damage less than $150
so in 2 days, moi spend almost $450!!!
omg!!! omg!!!
and i was supposed to go cut hair and trim my eyebrow and get a PJ
and i did not accomplished any of these......

not much time left.......
but i am very the very the happy

OUCH OUCH OUCH
last sunday, after lunch, i stayed in the room and watched my tv programmes
dear came in after his meal and lay next to me (in opposite direction) which means to say, his legs will facing me
then suddenly without warning, he just leaned down to adjust the fan
but he did not know tt my foot was under the pillow
and i tell u, it was damn painful lor
coz remember, my legs were very tired after the long walk from japan and i haven gone for a foot reflex yet
"ouch ouch ouch!!"
"what"
next moment, i began to tear
immediately, dear took the tissue and passed to me and sayang my foot
he said "u put ur foot there, i dun know mah. and u ouch ouch ouch! how i know u ouch what? u must say my foot my foot"
my tears just flowed
then he said "ok sorry lah. i did not mean it"
"but my foot was there"
"i did not know mah. who asked u to put ur foot under the pillow"

just realised tt for new birds like me in my current firm, within the 1st 5 yrs, we are at the learner stage
here, we are expected to LEARN LEARN AND LEARN
dun need to do anything just learn
and "pile and dig ur foundation....as deep as u can"
wow!!!
so does it mean within the 1st 5 yrs, even if i made a boo boo, its consider as "OK" coz we are at the learner's stage....learn thru ur own mistakes........steady
then if u r good at being a learner...u go on to the next stage as a individual contributor.....means u OMO.....coz u know all the shit le...so can run on ur own......kekeke
after another few yrs and u r damn good at a individual contributor, u will be promoted to be a mentor.......wow!! here, u mentor ppl....show them the enlightened paths....kekeke....so after mentoring abt 100 staff and u r good at it, well, u will move on to the final stage...leader....u lead a team le....

sound interesting...sounds challenging....but frankly, how long will it take for u to climb up that ladder....esp u have no paper.......except rough paper and toilet paper.......sigh

he came to me today and asked me abt it
and i reported "ok. nothing big deal"
then he said "ok" and walked away
but i could see tt he has an uneasy look, so i continued "hey! do u think i should drop an email to the team? just to cover tt we have gone thru and commented"
and he immediately agreed to the idea
and he said "u go thru first, then forward to me. i see what else i want to edit"
fine...chicken feet
so i went thru and highlighted those tt i have spotted and already told the team to amend accordingly
and then he came to me 15mins before knock off time
and told me his comments
i scratch a bit of head but i think its ok
as long as if its amended and it made all happy i will just do it, really
but over the phone, while discussing with one of the team member
we were like "got difference huh?"
and i went "i dun think it makes any difference, tts why i did not comment to u in the first place"
"to me, its just the phrasing of the sentence. nothing serious. dun change also ok rite?"
"tts what i think so. but he said to be consistent. so change lor"
"consistent? then how come one report stated "principle work" and the other is "firm requirement"? then follow which one? u follow 1st report then 2nd report dun telly mah. so where is the consistency"

MUST HAVE
was telling dear tt most of the blogs on japan tour will have photos of the pokemon plane.....and i told him "I ALSO WANT TO HAVE PHOTOS FOR THE BLOG"
but but but.......we did not see it the moment we touched down, or at any of the airports
so sad....... =((
almost given up all hopes when i saw this model displayed in the haneda airport.....

since i came back from my trip
i lost my voice........
i am a dumb dumb now

cannot talk...no voice
and therefore needs to use sign languages
so poor thing
and there were instances where my coll talked to me on the phone and i messaged him back
and after we hang up, he told me "so stupiak like tt. me talking to myself"
sorry pal, not tt i want to make fun of u, but losing my voice is not fun either
i cannot order my own food....which means to say i got to tag along with whoever is ordering "nicer" food.....
i cannot go buy things, coz i have no voice to make enquiry before i buy
so sad

go see a doc and within few days will get it back
but frankly, i can truly understand the frustration of the disabled ppl.....when ppl dun understand what they trying to express........
