then i brought him to the words XXX, which everybody should understands when they read it if they dun, means they dun know at all....
and i was told "this is not non conventional. not u say non conventional then its non conventional u know"

he called me early in the morning

how can they possibly cleared the docs within 30 mins???

so i told him i will need the pricing potion first to check thru for arithmetical errors then i will return him all the doc for him to check the rates?

PAY LESS U STAND, PAY MORE U SIT??

read this in today's paper
one smart alec highlighted tt he noticed the freqency of train without seats are more than the train with seats
so he suggested tt passengers who take trains without seats should pay a lower fare rate

ok seriously, how he intend the authority to implement it?

1) how u know which train has no seat cabin?
2)can u ensure tt those who pay for no seat cabin will not take advantage of the loop holes and use the train with seats?
3) there are so many trains coming in and out the same time, esp at interchanges, then how can u ensure tt the passengers pay the correct fares and enter te correct cabine?
4) for eg, i paid a higher fare coz i want to gurantee a possibility of securing a seat, end up, when i reached my destination, no get any seat at all....then can i get a refund??? or i will write in and suggest for a lower fare for standing.....
5) who is to check tt we have paid for the correct fares and took the correct train/cabin??

i still dun know how this plan can be implemented

when i was in japan, it was like this
u pay more for a guarantee seat train, or u pay lesser and dun guarantee a seat type
there will be a conductor, who will go ard and check....he will only check on the higher price cabins though, coz why bother to check everybody in the train tio bo
and hor, its only applicable for LONG journey trains
how long can a journey be in sing??? i dun think it will take u half a day to travel from one end to another end rite.....

and so if u use the brain to analyse, the duration of journey is not long, the mrt is always packed, then how u expect the conductor to check everybody to ensure tt we paid the correct fare and are in the correct cabin????
before the conductor can finished his round from the froint cabin to the end.....some of us, who cheated, might have already alighted lor....

so i still have no idea how can this idea be implemented
maybe the smart alec should provide the solutions too ......

does it mean, pay more u sit and pay less u stand??
then i think my transport fare will be greatly reduced le....lolz

so i suggested to the gang tt we shall go try
and went yesterday...5 of us...
for dinner the cost is $35.10
was the buffet worth it??

the potato dish (which YY said its much better than what marche has)

grilled food
desserts!!!! (yum yum...cookie and cream ice cream......)
the beef is very tender but i preferred it to be more well done

what i dislike:-
chawamushi (ya!! most of the time, its one of my favorite!! but this time, sorry, i had eaten better ones)
green pea (not fresh enough)
sword fish (confirmed not fresh. the meat is not like those which i ate before, SOLID)
hand roll (seaweed not crispy enough)
the portion of the "dao gay" too little, not shiok

i did not try the tempura coz someone said NOT WORTH
i also did not try all the cooked food, coz for what???

in a very crowded train
ma chiam like in a sardine can like tt
this ang mo, hubby holding on to her, was busy applying her foundation, draw her eye brow, blusher, lip stick and then "clamp" her long lashes, whip out her mascara and apply to her lashes, pout her lips and all ready to go go go
and she can still dolled up herself in time for her to alight at her stop....swee...impressive
and she really have the heck care attidude...LOOK ALL U WANT...AS IF I CARE....

case 2

crowded train
saw this auntie, crounching on the floor, suddenly took out a mirror from her bag
mind u, not those small one ok, the bigger type
then start her make up routine
from base, to foundation, to blusher, to liner to lip stick
and then tt it
case closed
packed back everything into her bag and then alight....
swee lor...they always know the timing very well......

case 3

was sitting beside this girl
and i was busying reading the free newspaper
suddenly, she unzipped her bag, took out her small pouch
then started to apply whatever is in her small pouch
then she zipped it back, and then search for another small pouch
and applied again
and then lined her eye lids....upper and lower
"clamp" her long lashes
and then apply on the mascara and then steady....ready to go..smack smack....

seriously, if all these cases prove otherwise....then who is telling me the correct thing???

a fight broke out over a bowl of $2 noodle......

wife of the bully told the hawker to help cut her noodle and to separate the chilli from the noodle
hawker told her want so many things over a $2 ONLY noodle
bully found out
confronted hawker
bully took chair to hit hawker
hawker picked up a knife and in the commotion, "chop"
bully's thumb kana chopped off

became a police case
investigate
and then hawker jailed and fine.......

i think, many ppl will be like me, hawker only protecting himself
the bully was much younger and bigger size than hawker
and bully came with the chair, hawker just protecting himself, with anything tt is near him at tt pt of time
can't be he take a tissue paper or the table cloth or noodle or throw fishballs at him rite????

anyway, there is a reason for sentencing to a day's jail and a fine
but...what abt the bully??
he got his thumb attached back in the end.....

went round the 3 levels of carpark but it was full.....they refused to let us park at level 4th...dun ask me why

decided tt we have enough of waiting and gg round in circles
so we left........bye bye!!! no can eat buffet le

ended up in TRIPLE 3 since their reno

not as fantastic as our 1st visit there............

WANNA MEET

met up with 2 of my ex coll last evening for dinner
seriously, i was looking forward to it

though it was a mad rush week
but there is this event which i am looking forward to.....

we met up and was updating each other and laffing away
and before i knew it, its already 1030...
and then my eyes gg to shut down le

really cannot stand up late anymore
but then i am happy to be able to see them again
we promised to meet up again soon.......after my ai ai comes back from her us trip.....

meting up with old friends are so nice.....but the next gathering will have some problem
coz bay bay can only meet us in the afternoon, ai ai has no more leave to apply and therefore need to meet on a weekend.......which i think bay bay won't be able to make it coz she has to tke care of her 3 kids....
if its weekday, 2 kids are in school so she can still handle......but weekend, all 3 will be ard...so...erm........
think just need to make an effort, if really want to meet.....
can't be always the same ppl making sacrifices.......

BUY TIME

felt very bad but i really have no choice

i was given a very tight timeline to produce the doc
i requested for a few days grace, but was rejected, citing tt many ppl gg on leave so we need to catch big boss's signature

imagine something which required at least 2 weeks min (full time on it) to be completed is now reduced to 3 days!!!!!!!

and how can thise 3 days be full time....dun understand why ppl dun understand tt everybody have 101 things to do

anyway,whatever...nobody will understand, coz its never all for one and one for all....

anyway, continue with the story telling
so what i did to "buy" time
i scan thru the doc given to me by the individual engineers
to "spot the mistake" which i normally can't really be bother...i will just scan the obvious mistakes, but this time, i scan thorougly, cross reference to everywhere....
then with my comments, i went back to the engineer to get the comments amended
and then hola, this was what i was told
"i dun have time to amend. can i dun amend?"
"can" i went....
"must be change now? can we get the amendment done later?"
"yes. change now. if not how the tender doc can go out?"
"but i really no time. can we just go out like this?"
"no. how can?"
"but i really no time to do. i am gg on leave. i got to get someone to do."
"ok. u get someone to do la"
"but tt someone also cannot do. he is busy. and i dun think i can give u on monday"
"its ok. monday cannot. tuesday lor. anyway. ur boss dateline to get boss's signature is thur mah"
"last time i did the tender doc also not like this de"
"oh, my boss is paricular abt such thing"
"last time, my tender also with ur boss. she also ok"
"is it?" diam diam
i left the doc on the table and i left and she did not bother abt me.....

seriously, probably last time the qs helped to tidy up her portion
but this time, i was not given much time.....i only have 3 days......
and if i help to do her portion and the rest of the engineers'....then who is gg to do mine!!!!!!

i know i very bad.......but but but.... really not much choice....
if i dun get them to amend their doc themselves then who is gg to help me do my part.....

i am so sorry....but i really have no other choice....if not when thur arrives and i have no signature, i will be the BLAME!!!

i slashed the price by almost 50% and asked whether the seller is willing to let it go at $ YYY
i knew the answer would be a capital NO
but then must try first mah and see whether they will reduced the price
but alast, i think the seller is not working in the same field as me, coz his reply is "this is the best price" when i asked him whether is he willing to reduce further...

therefore, end up, he keeps his BB and i keep my $$$
not sure will he finally sell it away at his "best price"
but me definitely not willing to part with my $xxx for a 2nd hand .......

the little one requested to go mac today
reminded me to come home early and dun put her aeroplane

and despite me having tons of work to do, i still packed up at 611pm
seriously, there was a moment, when i really wanted to call back and tell her to "postpone" the mac trip
but as she did quite well in school (got 4th in class) and she requested for it, i did not want to disappoint her

who knows, the moment i reached home
she popped out from dun know where and said "erm...yeeyee, is it ok if we dun go to the mac today. we go another day"
and u know me, everything must go as planned mah, so i had an outburst "if u dun want to go, then should have call me earlier. then i dun come back mah. u know, i put down everything to come back just for u. i could have done my OT"
