ME WRONG WHERE??

damn frustrated at work today
this was what happened:-

cannot really gave the details
so got to cut short in everything
therefore some times it might not sound logical to u...but i just want to let out some steam..

i was highligting some guides to someone due to contractor's delayed in their submission via email
the person called me and said "i know u wrote a lot of things, but i dun understand what u r writing about. u always write things which i dun understand"
up**fire lighted up*
"huh? which part?"
"everything"
*rolled eyes*
FINE!! so i slowly explained tt according to the guide, contractor has to submit the doc by X days and it is now Y days and they have yet to submit anything except for a draft
"so the draft cannot meh?"
"yes"
"why"
"becoz its only a draft. no chop no signatures no nothing"
"then why they send u a draft?"
*steady lor. how the hell do i know?*
"they want me to vet the draft"
"so did u vet?"
"yes, of course"
"so have u replied them?"
"yes. i replied. but becoz the draft is locked, i cannot comment on the copy so i send them our templates and told them to comply"
"so are they complying?"
* swee lor!! how could i know???!!?*
"should be la."
"did u call them and ask them?"
* why should i??*
"nope. they should comply"
"then ok. let me make a few phone calls"
"ok. btw, just to inform u, by the extended dateline, the doc dun comes in, we have the rights to terminate as there is a clause in the doc"
"ok. which clause?"
"huh? ok. i find for u"
"of course la, u dun just write and tell me there is a such a provison and yet cannot tell me which clause mah"
"fine, i look for u."
"ok, thanks"

i am damn angry lor
whatever i wrote in the email, i copied and pasted from the guide
if he said he does not understand, means the guide is not clear.
i find it very clear leh
i dun know why?

anyway, subsequently, he send out an email to my boss to seek her advise
and reminded me to forward him the clause
i copied and pasted the section and deliberately highlighted and bold the sentence on the termination portion to shut his mouth up
which he subsequently replied with "thanks for the info. appreciated"
oh come on!! if there is no such clause, u think i got nothing better to do then to anyhow say tt can terminate then find more trouble for myself??
sigh.....

then the next email came in asking me when i vetted and replied on the draft
so to save the everybody's trouble of guessing who caused the delayed
i not a save oil lamp replied " the contractor send in their draft on friday at 526pm and i replied today at 1.33pm"

ta da!!
steady rite?
*clap clap clap*

to me hor, send in on which date is ok, but when u send in so near to knocking off time, then to me the next working day is considered as DAY 1......and therefore, i replied immediately on the same DAY 1...so where wrong? no wrong lor. delayed not by me.

and seriously, if want to questioned, should ask the late party
what have they been doing from 31 jan to 21 feb
ok, 1st week of feb, dun say la, coz its cny
but what abt the 2nd week??? still sleeping?? cannot be wat
and despite the 1st reminder letter to inform them tt the doc must come in by 18th, they still dare dare send in a DRAFT!!!!
omg!!! *slap forehead*
and now instead of questioning them, u interogating ur internal counter parts???
bo tio rite???

tell me, me wrong where??
i followed the guide
step by step
send out reminder letter, send email to the team to remind them to arrange for a meeting
then i send out 2nd reminder letter, but becoz nobody cares abt my 1st email, now point finger said i wrote so much, dun know what i wrote........sigh

WHATEVER!!
