4th OUTING
dress up... dress up...
still busy dolling up.......
like no difference......before and after....hahaha....slept at 2 plus the day before.....went out with the girls.....outing ended at 12am....did not get a cab till 130am!!!!! *yawn* and when i woke up in the AM, i was like "wa!! so dark rings"
told to wear skirt or dress....so dress was chosen....and i wore heels.........
thought it was a wrong choice, but turned out...a blessings in disguise....coz none of the 5 male participants can "match" my eye level......sigh *shake head*......think the artscience museum is anytime better.........lolz
my ticket...given to us after dinner
we visited 3 exhibitions.....DALI is one of them.......very impressive........a crazy man.....but well, all artistic ppl thinks like tt.........
melting clock....inspired by the melting cheese he was having during breakfast one fine day.......and it also symbolises tt time will never stop for anyone...it will just slip away.......
the snail resemble a human brain....the angel on the snail is like giving the brain a knock...and human will move a bit, move a bit.....hahaha....which is very true leh....no push, no move...lolz....
vincent...another crazy man.....anyway, he drew over 900 paintings but only sold one lor....and he was only famous when he mati...and it was his bro's wife aka sis in law who diligently promote his paintings thus he and his paintings became famous!!
over at this exhibit, we saw treasures found in shipwrecked lor.....nothing fantastic.....but entertaining....
the event was fair but the visit to artscience was worth it!! =))

with cash, with card, or even if i go washed the dishes

then i wanted to order from the supplier like what we did last yr
but this yr, the owner said "potluck"
so ok lor, told them tt when it comes to splitting the $$$, will have a headache if all bring one thing
"no la. won't"
ok lor, i follower. dun make so much noise
then i "kapo" went to do up a list of the BBQ food
then 1st round, some one deleted some of the items in the list, citing tt not required. OK can.
anyway only proposed mah so can add and omit de
where i got the list from?
from the suppliers lor
i went to a few webby and then cut and paste those i think are relevant and viola!! my own list
so anyway, as usual, i kept asking them to distribute the food la, as the date is drawing nearer
but nobody bothers, saying still got time
ok, 1st reminder, 2nd reminder, and then diam diam......not gg to say abt it anymore
then today when they finally realised tt the date is drawing nearer
they got gan cheong
then they went thru the list and then say this one want tt one must buy how many
then got one row is "cooked food - fishballs/nuggets/samosa"
they all said "why cooked food?"
then i said "no la. just put there. if dun want then dun want lor. got something to eat first before the fire gets started mah"
then all said dun want. and owner said "i dun want to fry food in my kitchen. very oily"

then as they went down the list, owner said "hey! want to make sandwiches?"

SUNDAY LUNCH OUTING
saw the advertisement
1 for 1 promo
so decided to bring the family there.......
*damn cheapo*
so anyway, we cheong there at ard 12 plus......
waited till 136pm before we were seated and few more mins later before the main course arrived
seriously, i expected will have to wait, coz of the promo
but i dun know why the old folks are so time pressing for dun know what?
want to quickly eat and go off.....sigh
sigh....from the moment we were in the Q
the 2 old folks were "complaining"
"wait so long. why like this? cheap la. food not nice de. why ppl eat so long...blah blah blah..."
dad kept asking me to go check with the manager when is our turn and i got to tell him we have to wait for 3 families to be seated before its our turn...so just wait....i almost want to "volcano" le
when we finally got out seat, the waitress served the soup and garlic bread, dad told the waitress "tell ur chef to apply more garlic on the garlic bread. see. so little, not garlic bread lor"

then after she left, dad said "ai ya, say le also no used. they won't feedback de"

actually i just want to bring everybody out for a good meal

then i opened the umbrella and showed tt mine is definitely newer
he said "if i gg to site again, i will get urs back for u"
but frankly, how could it be?
he is leaving us le...

can't believe it!!
though i did not really think the malacca trip was fun
as every body knows everybody except me
still got participants decided to drop me an email

MALACCA TRIP
nonya lunch at this place....so so....FOC chendol..too sweet for me.....>.<
WELCOME TO JONKER STREET......after 4 hours on the road........*yawn*
FINALLY at malacca......
rocking horse....so antique....i think only can find in such place.....
the tour guide said evening time, the stage will be IN FULL FORCE....aunties singing their hearts out......lalalalallala......

well, disappointed trip...but i did enjoy myself..... =))
got a new shopping center
5 storey high
and we were only given 1/2 hr there
sigh
did not get to complete all levels
coz we due to the short time given, we parked at the A&W and had curly fries and rootbeer float...
