we organised a BBQ
then i wanted to order from the supplier like what we did last yr
but this yr, the owner said "potluck"
so ok lor, told them tt when it comes to splitting the $$$, will have a headache if all bring one thing
"no la. won't"
ok lor, i follower. dun make so much noise

then i "kapo" went to do up a list of the BBQ food
then 1st round, some one deleted some of the items in the list, citing tt not required. OK can.
anyway only proposed mah so can add and omit de
where i got the list from?
from the suppliers lor
i went to a few webby and then cut and paste those i think are relevant and viola!! my own list

so anyway, as usual, i kept asking them to distribute the food la, as the date is drawing nearer
but nobody bothers, saying still got time
ok, 1st reminder, 2nd reminder, and then diam diam......not gg to say abt it anymore

then today when they finally realised tt the date is drawing nearer
they got gan cheong
then they went thru the list and then say this one want tt one must buy how many
then got one row is "cooked food - fishballs/nuggets/samosa"
they all said "why cooked food?"
then i said "no la. just put there. if dun want then dun want lor. got something to eat first before the fire gets started mah"
then all said dun want. and owner said "i dun want to fry food in my kitchen. very oily"
ok lor
then as they went down the list, owner said "hey! want to make sandwiches?"
then i almost fainted
"just in case u all hungry, while they setting up the fire"

cooked food is no no no, sandwich is ok
tuna/ham/egg
even want to make potato salad......

ok cut long story short
suddenly smart alec said "hey! if like this, each person get something. then end up alot of receipts very difficult and ma fan to split the cost"

so i just smiled and kept quiet
then they rumble rumble rumble
and then another smart alec went "hey, why dun u go buy the chicken wings since u need to marinate 2 days before the bbq, and SY and i go get the rest of the food"

then i immediately said "oh tt day i will be late then"
smart alec no 2 said "why? how come? then how i carry???" and looked at me

so many food, how to carry there? she also know hor!! then why dun she asked me first before "deciding" for me

i really give up!!!
then everybody looked at me
ok fine!
so i said "no la. joke joke"
then the owner said "ok. then i meet u all at 11am at XXX. we go buy and then i can fetch u all back home and u all can do the sandwiches"

i mean, then why dun the owner go buy everything????? then split the cost lor....i did not support gg "potluck" i just followed with majority

anyway, smart alec no 2's bf will be joining mah. so i went "hey! no need to meet us la. her bf coming mah. her bf can carry"
then smart alec no 2 said "cannot. bf working tt day so he will only come later"
fine lor!!
"ok. then no choice, we go meet owner then buy lor"

"if like tt, then my bf might not go le. coz he alone, he might not know the way to owner's place"

smart alec no 2 also not coming lor, then end up ME got to clear the shit she created???
then she continued "if he goes home after work, then ask him to come out again, then he dun know the way and he alone, he will no come le" *sad look*

anyway i went "u tell him to take a cab down. tell him SY pays!!"
seriously, i very angry le
what is this!!

so end up what happened?
end up SY will travel all the way to owner's place in the AM, go buy food with owner, make sandwiches, prepare the food, until the 1st person arrives between 3 to 4pm!!!

someone told me "just say u last min got something on lor. so not joining for the bbq"
