FRUITFUL EVENT

how's the event tonight
well, i think i quite enjoyed
although there were hipcups before the event

anyway, one particular conversation striked me
someone mentioned abt divorced or even separated joining such events
and i was like "hm....whats wrong? dun they also deserve a 2nd chance?"
then the girl with me sort of agreed with what i was thinking and told the guy off
not as in scold him, but "enlighten" la
what did he say tt trigger it?
he said he has a friend who went out with this girl he met in one of the event
and after 5 dates, the girl told him tt she is a divorcee
and the guy asked us what we think happened next

then i said "continued on with the rs lor"
then he looked at me "u mean u will continue on"
"ya, why not? i mean, if u cannot accept the fact tt she is a divorcee means u dun love her deep enough but can still remain as friends mah, after all, its fate tt brought them together"
the girl with me also agreed
but the guy said "no, the rs did not continue"
and i was shocked!!
what a shallow person!!!

but then again, of course, everyone has his/her own thinking and thoughts and religion, so cannot force them la
if they really cannot accept then force also no use de
coz end of the day no happiness

then the guy said "and hor, u never know the person u meeting in such events is a divorcee or separated unless u asked mah"
i wanted to ask him "so if i tell u tt i am one such category person, will u immediately stopped talking to me?"
if he said "yes" then i think this kind of friend i also dun want lor
but to start with, he also not my friend la

just someone i met in an event
coz i know my friends not tt shallow ppl.......

the girl with me then say "hey! its very common now to find divorced or ppl who separated lor. so whats wrong? and like wat she say (referring to me) still can be friends"
then the guy said "well, its up to u la. if u can accept then good lor"
he cited tt his religion dun allowed .......once divorced means u can never re married again
wth!!
what kind of religion is like this? why cannot give ppl a second chance
anyway, sorry to say his religion

then as we were having our event in this thai rest, he mentioned tt the celebrity opened his branch near our work place
then i jio him "hey!! find one day, lunch u date me, we go makan"
and then he replied "ok"
think my big mouth got myself into trouble again
where got girl like this one........sigh
whatever la
i started something for him........its up to him lor
then he asked whether we play badminton coz he is trying to get more new blood to play
and i told him i am not into badminton

then there is this guy
who after the event, cheong out, and asked me "SY, tomolo u free? want to go out?"
i stunned
"sorry, ah mah's birthday party"
"erm..its ok. what abt sunday?"
"erm..sorry but i prefer to rest at home. monday office got event, i want to rest well on sunday"
"oh! then i call u on sunday ok"
"oh, sure"
and i cheong off

anyway, can see tt he is a young chap la
so can turn him down......but just need to put it across to him nicely
and i can't do tt, coz i dun know how!!!

then there is this uncle, who went "oh interesting" "oh interesting"
to everything i said

anyway, he was one of the last few la
and i was very tired le
dun feel like smiling or talking le
so i let him talk and my mind wandered away on and off

for this event, 3 ppl actually asked me abt my ring
" is this ur engagement ring?" A asked
"oh yes." i replied

"i see u have a very nice ring" B said
"oh, thank you"
"ur ring does not look cheap hor" C asked
"oh, i got it when its on sales for my birthday" i went
"u got it for this yr birthday?" C went
"nope. last yr" i went
"oh, even the earrings also diamond?" C went
"no la. this is not. just accessories de. i am looking for someone to get a matching earring for me" i went

then C went, "hm..sorry but where did u write ur contact?" *looking at his book*
"oh under her name lor, here" *pointed to him*
"Oh! what can i indicate here to remember u"
"oh, u remember her u will automatically remember me lor"
"oh, what a good idea"
then the girl sitting with me went "u indicate a diamond ring at her name lor"
"oh yes. u r rite" *doodle a ring next to my name*
*faint*
but creative lah

so what to do next........wait for whoever who wants to make first move lor.........
coz this organiser, dun do discreet contact exchange de, u got to ask for it on the spot
and so far i did not reject........will be very funny rite
