CHRISTMAS GATHERING

today we had our 'NUS' christimas gathering
S4 brought his partner along...
turned out tt she is the youngest among us!!!
hehehe....S11, u no longer the youngest!!! hehehe

anyway, the lunch buffet not bad leh
simple food but nice and yummy!!
want to consider bringing parents there one day.... *beam beam*
the lunch is from 12 to 5pm leh!!
and we really sat there till 5pm leh.......
hehehe
made our money well spend!!!!
woohoo!!!

and then the jing dian......gift exchange!!!
LL forgot to bring her present so she opt out of the exchange
we drew lots and i was so lucky!!! i drew my own name!!
so they said "ok, all re draw again"
and then 2nd time, all gotten a gift

TL got mine
S2 got T
i got S4
S4 got S2
and therefore A gotten TL

everybody was happy with their exchange gifts except A
why?
coz the gift was a luggage lock!!!
and A was like "why a lock!!!!"
and then everybody chipped in a bit here and there
i think TL must be feeling lousy
but then what happened to the spirit of gift giving???
sigh
but then, frankly, if i gotten tt, i also dun know what will i do with it
but in the first place, i won't buy tt for gift exchange ......
and then A went "ai ya!! SY, i should have taken S4's if not for u who drew ur own name!!!!"
and then i just smile smile lor

what happened was
i was the 2nd last to drew the lot and she was last
if she exchange with me
i would be taking S4 and she will take mine and T will have gotten TL's...
then perhaps she will feel better????

so what i got for the gift exchange???
i bought the jap doll coin purse and the magnet gg by the name "chu chu" for exchange and i got 2 magnets and a hdp charger holder in return.....
good exchange?
ya why not i thought.....hehehe

at least, i bought something which is slightly more useful than a luggage lock!!??!!

i find it very diff to buy gift for ppl who are into branded stuff
really....no brand means no good for them le
tts what i think la, in my humble opinion

and not forgetting tl has not be working for the past few months
why no time to go shopping meh??
last min then she went shopping and got tt!!
hm....budget constraint?? can't be wat, coz budget already set, so just need to find some stuff ard tt price....
hm...*ponder*

but a pc of good new is " she took up the job offer!!!"
she has a job le!!
