i read this article flipping thru the sats recruitment paper

its abt promotion
it goes something like this, and i think its very true

dun always think tt u have been by pass a promotion or u deserved the promotion
coz hor, to go up to the next level
there is another set of responsibilities and pressure and stress waiting for u
and ARE YOU READY FOR IT!!!
if u r not, then staying at ur level, might not be a bad thing afterall

not to say tt u stay at ur level forever lah
its for u to stay at ur level and observe and learn the ropes well
once u cope well, then think abt moving to the next level and take on new challenges
dun one step want to reach the sky

so i guess its the same
like what dear's boss said
"its very easy to be a director, u just direct, u just download, but the path to be one is not an easy one"

which also goes to say
some ppl can do work but they not meant to manage ppl
so why not just do what they are good at
and leave the rest to someone else.........
simply not ready to take up the extra challenge
