GIVE ME YOUR PHOTO

today went for a one day intro safety course
8am was really very early (for me) esp its at the west side
i asked whether can be late abit bit
was informed "8 means 8"
ok lor, what to do?!!
i woke up at 630 and left house like 645am
early???well, i was still late for like 5 mins

opened the door to the class
almost fainted
all the blackies.....ok, majority were, not all
but its ok, afterall, tts what courses are for rite?
to learn mah

anyway, also dun know what time, the lecturer started to take attendance
wa kao!!
he took his own sweet time
fine!!!
but i was tl le
coz i woke up early, reached the venue early not for ppl to waste my time

anyway, he collected our ics and then scan our names
and then we signed on the attendance sheet
and i went back to my seat

shortly later, he said "where are ur photos?"
i thought he was referring to the workers
but then, i was wrong
he was referring to all in the class
he called my name and i went "why i need to give photo? i am not attending a WSH course, this is just a into to safety course"
then he said "u have to give, coz after the class, u will have a cert with ur photo on it."
and i went "but i was not told so, and HOW COULD I KNOW TT THIS IS A WSH COURSE. IT WAS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE IN MY REGISTRATION EMAIL"
and he happily replied me "oh, this is a WSH course my dear, this is the most basic course of WSH. and u need to give me a photo. no photo no cert. and i tell u, this is the problem with english course, everybody interpreted it wrongly"

what english course u talking abt? how the hell will i know its a WSH course when it was no where stated and NOBODY IN OFFICE informed must bring photo!!!!
anyway, he was kind la, he directed me to the shop next door, "u can go there and have ur photos taken"
but frankly, i have photos at home, why the hell do i want to spend the money to take "extra" photos and put at home to rot
sigh

i refused to take and my coll came over and we tried to reason with him
then he said "its ok. no photo no cert"
and my coll went "its ok, we give u the photos on another day. we still have colls who will come to attend this course. we will pass the photos to them."
"its ok. then u will not received the cert today"
"fine its ok. we not in a hurry to have it"

for goodness, with or without cert, we still go to site lor
and he told us "no cert cannot go to site"
wa kao!!
frankly, dun go then dun go lor

hehehe

anyway, the registration took exactly 1.5hrs!!!

seriously, waste time
i could have take my own sweet time to wake up and travel there lor
then finally lesson started at 930am
he just clicked on a video clip
and after tt few mins, he told us "u may go for ur tea break now"
wtf!!!!

no wonder this course lasted for 1 full day
totally take own sweet time to lecture us lor

after the tea break....he explained tt this course was meant for the foreign workers
so the professionals will find this course abit "redundant" and a waste of time
but the professionls should not think of it this way
coz to enter the site, the min requirement is to have this cert
my coll then asked "is this a regulation?"
and he blah blah blah rattled on
then my other coll asked "when is it enforced?"
he replied "2006" and started to mumble on abt the history
oh, seriously WTF!!
if its a regulation in 2006,then why then are we send to obtain this cert NOW!!!
hm......*ponder*
somewhere is wrong lor....
either someone knows or someone dun know....

and for me, i seriously dun care and dun want to bother
coz i just spend one full day there....and "qaurrel" with the lecturer, feeling damn buay siong and took the 1 hr 40 mcq test in just 5 mins.......hahaha

ya, i finished the test in 5 mins though it was supposed to be an hr....
and no, i did not get full marks
but then, i still think i pass lor
need 60% to pass and get the cert

now i only need to pass my photo to the next batch to collect the cert for me.....
