WANT OR DUN WANT?

was watching "the america next top model" this morning
this season is the students version and the public also plays a part in scoring/judging u...
so it makes a lot of difference as compare to last few seasons of TANTM, where the judges made the call

u can imagine when tyra banks went ard the colleges to "recruit" potential models
all of them were like "CRAZY" over it
its like "THIS IS WHAT I WANT!!! OMG OMG!"
u know stuff like tt
and u will wonder "how come ppl can be so siao?!!"

well, so apparently this AM epi is abt "MAKE OVER"
and if u do watched TANTM, u will know tt, make over is a segment, where u gets to have a complete make over, whether u like it or not
BUT this time round, there is a twist!! 
u get to choose whether u want or dun want to have the make over
DUH!!
but frankly, do u think u r so easily let off if u choose not to have the make over?
afterall this is a show leh, u r gg to be a model soon (if u wins la), how can u not take instruction rite?

anyway got 2 smart alec said "NO"
one said "coz was given a choice. so is ok to say dun want." and the other was telling long and short grandma's story. ya, literally it was something abt her grandma wanting her to keep her hair long....BAH!

ok so, these 2 were shortlisted for a "talk" while the rest were busy with their make over
and they were briefed tt in this line, u have to always listen to ur client. they want u to do this, u do this and not do tt coz no client wants an employee who does not listen to simple instruction. and no agents would want to represent such models...
which i think is qute true la....

well, the girl who said was given a choice to make over or not. said she is now being represented by an agent who still managed to help her find assignments. and the lady was kind enough to remind her tt her agent is those small small ones, how can she one day become BIG. she will never get BIG assignments. then she said she dun mind.*rolled eyes* and the kind lady told her what if now some one is offering her $XM for the assignment but she needs to do a make over, and guess what ??!!?? her reply is"NO" *rolled more eyes*

then the kind lady stunned,but she continued with what if today XYZ is gg to ofer u an assignment then how? and the girl actually replied "well, i might consider"

seriously, DUH!!!

as for the grandma's story one, tyra banks was explaining to her, this is a job, we talking abt being professional, so if she is worried abt her family history or watever, then perhaps this is not suitable for her
then the girl got panic as in "did i just jeopadise my chance to be TANTM??!!?? and started to tear!!

to me, well, u made the choice, then why cry over spilled milk now!!
and i thought isn;t this WHAT U WANT in the first place??  no job is always glamour 24 hrs /7 days a week de lor... got to give up some stuff for it
so DUH!!!
so if tts what u want then u should know the price of being a model rite? nothing is free lor..got to work hard for it, a price to pay... and its only HAIR!! not asking u to go under the knife... u either gets to chop it off, perm, bonding, colour, what else can happened?? botak???

anyway half way thru the show, the girl who said given a choice, decided tt she had enough.
as in this is ONLY one of what she wants, but not EVERYTHING
and she decided to call it a day
i guess she cannot accept the fact of taking nude photos bah
but i thought all TANTM has a segment where participants has to take nude photos
so why this NOW?
frankly, i also dun know
ya, she decided to call it quits during the nude photo taking segment

i guess tts how human works bah
when u dun have, u think tt TTS WHAT I WANT
give me TT, tts what i always wanted, die die also must have
but once u have it, u tend to feel, well, perhaps, its not really want i want afterall
btw, tt girl is a havard student.... got brains but no eq???
(hm... my own personal humble opinion, mean no harm to anyone)

ok, so after "fighting" with so many other students and got the top 20 hot seats
gone thru few rounds of elimination
and she realised tt its not what she wanted after all..........quite sad hor
worked so hard for it
but then again, i guess its a blessing to realise it NOW then LATER
tio bo???

now still early, so can let go
later, too late le, neither here nor there, and then she got to continue to "fight" on coz too late to back out

isn't it?

dun have tt time, we want it so badly
have tt time, we either treasure or we think think think, perhaps not really want i expected...
