its 2/3. 1/3 only if its 1 cake ma. I think the confusion is the 6 slices. The base is 3, so 2 slices out of 3 in a cake is 2/3.
2 round cakes shared by 4 friends. How much of a cake will they get? Its 1/2, not 1/4.
