NO FLIP FLOPS

was told tt there is a office dress code de lor
and hr did long time ago send out a circular on it
and mgt very particular abt it
but i remembered when i first came in, i did asked the HR then "any dress code?"
and his reply was "nope. unless ur div has one. but basically no"

anyway, yesterday suddenly out of the blue (coz she said she will bring it up during the staff meeting) she brought it out
she said she noticed tt ppl wore flip flop to work which to her is a NO NO NO
and someone went to argue with her tt "i did not"
and wa kao! kana shoot back "but today i saw u wearing it to work"
kua kua kua
why argue.... u know what i mean........sigh

anyway, then she mentioned abt no jeans on weekday too unless of course on dress down day
or maybe when u r on off day or something like tt
but if u have a meeting, please dress formally

and we all nodded
frankly speaking, to me, no issue de.
coz i dun wear flip flops and i dun wear jeans to work
only once when we were shifting office
from 4th storey to the basement
which i think its logical rite?
convenient to shift and pack mah
dun expect me to wear heels and then in a dress to pack
tts really inconvenienence

so i just listen to the news like a pinch of salt
but hor, after the short discussion, u can see ppl's reaction and face
like "wa!! big shot liao lah. now also want to control what we wear"
and i just smile
actually its a fact lah
dressed up more also good for ur own image
