think back, frankly, this yr has not been a bad yr afterall

until today!!
we had a mini celebration in office
sponsored by big boss ($100) and all managers and some staff
i sponsored the eclair and cream puff from the apple strudel store in bugis....ritz something i think
my manager sponsored $50 and otah from NEX
and another manager sponsored chicken wings and roasted duck
another manager of mine sponsored mee siam
and from the $100, we got salad, fishballs, umi sushi platter, dim sum, ice cream, drinks
so yummy so happpy
there goes 2010.....
and when the clock strikes tonight at 12mn
bye bye to 2010 and usher in the yr 2011!!!!
hopefully 2011 will be a good yr for all of us

her dream home......
she did agreed (though did not tell me) tt i can popped over to her dream house while she plays mj with her kakis
i proposed tt i can watch dvds while she plays la
anyway, guess her dream house will be at west side
a bit out of the way for me

frankly, having a place on her own, she can have parties!!!

i threw a fit at work last wed and thur
i felt so bad
its all abt work afterall
frankly, its not very good for my health
hahaha
not worth it
but really, dun understand why so many ppl out there only think abt themselves
where is team work?
what abt team spirit?
why is it only "I" "ME" and "MYSELF"
i only have 2 hands, 1 brain, and 1 miserable life
want u take lor, if dun want, then leave me alone!!!!!
seriously, everybody's work is urgent
everybody want top priority
everybody wants to show results to bosses
but pls, not at my expenses ok!!!
u only handle one FUCKING project
but i handling everybody's FUCKING projects
so dun u think i should decide whose FUCKING project should get my attention first
sooner or later i will get to ur BLOODY FUCKING project its only a matter of when
so if ur BLOODY FUCKING PROJECT is not tt very urgent, pls dun come disturb me for the sake of disturbing me!!!!!
just let me complete my work according to my TO DO LIST, and soon urs will be cleared too

AEROPLANE DAY

last week seemed to be "put aeroplane" day
i know they did not meant to be de la
just tt something popped up at the last min
so its ok
i can totally understand
=))
wanted to have a dinner with esther last fri
she messaged me on thur to inform tt she cannot make it
=))
though she wanted to arrange to meetup for the gift exchange
but too bad, i couldn't meet her schedule
then colls and i arranged to pop over to our neighbour country
but then last min coz one of the coll gg to ballot for an ec unit
so we need to cancel the trip if he gotten his choice unit becoz they need to go secure the loans and settle all paper work...
so end up, both days i was at home...resting....
yesterday, since the little one was at home with us
i decided to bring her out
she couldn't make up her mind where she wants to go
"bugis, tampines, parkway,?????"
ended up, i decided to bring her visit her mama.....hahaha
so we took the train to TP and then a bus to her mama's place
spend whole day with them, travelling ard .........
before i know it, its 630pm le......and then sister came back with us for dinner...
kekeke
free ride home.....but at least, i got some activity to do rather than just spend it sleeping away.......hohoho
we managed to buy the christmas gifts for the 2 kids though
=))
tts all for the family..
sister and bil will either get 2 bottles of wine from me or the iphone 4 casing......
hm.....let me think abt it.....

as for the little one, i was telling her, if i managed to find the Vol 4 of the osbourne book, she will get tt for her christmas gift, if not, sorry nothing for her....

S4 brought his partner along...
turned out tt she is the youngest among us!!!
hehehe....S11, u no longer the youngest!!! hehehe
anyway, the lunch buffet not bad leh
simple food but nice and yummy!!
want to consider bringing parents there one day.... *beam beam*
the lunch is from 12 to 5pm leh!!
and we really sat there till 5pm leh.......
hehehe
made our money well spend!!!!
woohoo!!!
and then the jing dian......gift exchange!!!
LL forgot to bring her present so she opt out of the exchange
we drew lots and i was so lucky!!! i drew my own name!!
so they said "ok, all re draw again"
and then 2nd time, all gotten a gift
TL got mine
S2 got T
i got S4
S4 got S2
and therefore A gotten TL
everybody was happy with their exchange gifts except A
why?
coz the gift was a luggage lock!!!
and A was like "why a lock!!!!"
and then everybody chipped in a bit here and there
i think TL must be feeling lousy
but then what happened to the spirit of gift giving???

but then, frankly, if i gotten tt, i also dun know what will i do with it
but in the first place, i won't buy tt for gift exchange ......
and then A went "ai ya!! SY, i should have taken S4's if not for u who drew ur own name!!!!"

i bought the jap doll coin purse and the magnet gg by the name "chu chu" for exchange and i got 2 magnets and a hdp charger holder in return.....

even if she does not believe tt it breaks my heart to see her in this stage, at least, believe tt her parents will.........

PARTNERS OR FRIENDS
saw these and decided to summarise into my own words and understanding
when 2 ppl gotten married, they are "by all means" to have their own friends from the opp sex
but when they get "too closed" and the other party in the rs is unhappy,
u got to assess the situtation seriously, is it worth while to continue with the so called "platonic rs" and allowed the other party in the rs to incur unhappiness or even grew suspious and then start to have strong arugments every now and then..........
i think its very true....all boils down to "is it worth it!!!"
but of course, u must also gain the trust of ur partner...but pls dun take it for granted
communication is also impt....
best is can intro tt so called "damn good buddy" to ur partner
then all know each other, go out together once in awhile
then perhaps still can happy happy
frankly, to save all trouble
u can have ur opp sex friends
but try to go out as a grp instead of 1 to 1...
1 to 1 can, but pls informed ur partner, not to spotcheck on u...but at least even if friends saw u gg out with another person, when they "hao xin" go tell, ur partner can confidently said "oh ya, he was with XXX, i know i know. we are good friends, no worry" coz if u dun say, i tell u, storm and thunder and lightning will come lor
and lastly, if its only friends, then why cannot inform....is there something to hide?
anyway, if the rs is impt to u....i think u should know what to do.....know ur limits dun take each other for granted

TO CLIMB OR NOT TO
i had a nitemare yesterday
i cannot really remember the exact stuff
but it was like we went to a camp
old man was with me
but we were seated separately
then suddenly the lights went off, and we started to panic
i tried looking for him, but couldn't find him
so i stick with the grp sitting at my table
for dun know what reason, i lifted my head and saw cupboards located at the corridors of a block moving from left to right
and i was like "wa kao!! so heng meh? see such thing"
then i turned and looked at another block and saw ppl coming out of their unit trying to find out whats the problem
then i think suddenly the stand by gen set was booted up
and we had lights
we were told to go back to our own room, just power failure
*shrugged shoulders* what the heck
so we went back
back at our own room, old man was there
and we took turns to have our bath
the bathroom damn steady de lor
it was made of glass....and yes, means u can see me from outside and i can see u from inside
whether am i poo-ing or bathing, u can see me and i can see u
hehehe
ok, anyway, dun know until whose turn
the lights went off again, panicky
we all rushed out of the house into the stairway
and the funny thing is, at first there were many ppl in the stairways making their way to ground floor
but as we climbed down, the ppl got lesser and lesser and then left a few of us only
i did not see old man and wondered why he did not follow us
wanted to go back up, but the grp said no we should stick together
so ok lor, ll stay together
and suddenly the thought came into me..."hey! this looked like a scene from the movie abt ppl trapped in the lift de. just tt now its not the lift its the staircore"
*arm chio*
then very eerie feeling and then next moment, before i knew it, i woke up!!
hm....weird dream......
want to tell me wat??
dun take the stairs???
but i always use the stairs in office to go to other levels
exercise mah, always use lift will be ah pui soon lor

so how now???

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
just now during dinner i was asked abt the preparation
then i told them i decided not to have it this yr
and then i was told why not, all becoz i cannot get a venue??
of course the answer was "yes"
"oh dun do it on impulse, just becoz u cannot find a venue" but i really did not lor.
i spend one whole solid month looking thru forums, sending emails asking for menu and prices and even available dates, surfing the net, asking ppl, etc..one whole solid month.....
went to an extent tt i told upstairs if this is the right time to settle down, then i will find my venue, if not, then its ok i will wait
since i cannot get it, then i wait lor
i was then told "why u leave it upstairs? u should fight for ur rights"
seriously, i fought too much in the past le, what i get?
nothing
so why fight? just let nature takes its course
meant to be cannot run away de
"so u dun mind being single and alone in future? u dun mind tt one day he will leave the rs just like tt? then u will left with nothing"
"so be it" i answered. if he has to go, then go. i dun care. (ok, not tt i literally dun care, of course will be hurt, but frankly, if like what dear said before if 10yrs later, u will leave me, i rather u leave me now) if he not meant to be, then he is free to go."
seriously, like what i mentioned before, the day i lie 2 legs in the coffin, and the man still there weeping for me (provided my hubby no die before me la) then that man is THE ONE. and also hor i seriously do not believe tt when 2 ppl marry (i used to believe in tt), they will be together forever lor. if together forever, then happy for them. either party can still choose to leave the marriage de lor, if not why got divorce cases rite?
should i strike while the rod is hot??? seriously i also know must strike while its hot but i really cannot find the ideal venue. its the cny period, old man also commented tt will be difficult. tts why i also went to source for rest. but dun have ah, then how? if u know my style, when i want to do something, i will give it my all, no stones will be left unturned lor. but seriously, i cannot find one venue, then what u want me to do? sigh.... i even thought of just rom and tts it. no makan no nothing, damn simple lor
but then i got to think of old man and of course like what my gfs said, his mama.....having tt 2 tables is already trying to accomodate the mama le. i gave the son 3 options when i started to source for the venue. 2 tables, buffet for 30 pax or sit down dinner for many guests. coz i know if i tell the son, i wat also dun want the son will say ok and then the mama will be unhappy. afterall, i just want everybody to be happy on my happy day mah!! u think i want to see ppl unhappy on my happy day meh???
do u want to have kids or not? the answer now is "no"
maybe tts why no urgency to settle down
perhaps they r rite
but i think what J told me also makes some sense
stay single too long le, tts why prefer to stay like this
he is a good catch. u should settle down with him......wow!! first time i heard my friends said tt. coz the previous one no such comment

we had our family day outing today
went to eat at this swiss cafe
in my own humble opinion, dun bother to go try it if u haven been there before
currently they having the 1 for 1 promo using certain card
my coll called up to make reservation for 23pax
he was told tt one card can only make reservation for 10 pax
so my coll need to get 3 cards to book for 23 pax
he informed tt he has 3 cards, so should not be a problem
but the problem is, the customer officer told him tt he cannot booked for 23 pax
he needs to get 2 more ppl holding tt particular card to call and make the reservation. eg. 10, 10 and 3 or 8, 8 and 7, or 6, 7 and 10, etc....u get it rite?
wa kao!
what craps lor
seriously, if i made a reservation for 50 ppl, end of the day, i cannot produce 5 cards, then just dun allow me to enjoy the 1 for 1 promo lor, so what's the big deal???!??
i really dun know
and then the next best part was despite the 3 of us reminding them to sit us together
we were separated into 3 tables far far away from each other...as in north pole and south pole, west and east pole kind of thing
*slap forehead*
i really think such an arrangement is CMI!!!
its a family day outing and we got to sit one away from each other
sigh
anyway, after the lunch, the organiser arranged for us to go museum
ended up we went karaoke
FUN lor!!!!
hahaha
totally enjoyed myself
but i got to excuse myself halfway
coz i need to meet my gfs for dinner lor
was really looking forward to this dinner
coz long time to see them and we seldom get full attendance
always have one missing
and its supposed to celebrate qi's belated birthday ended up we each foot for our own share....old le.....cannot remember so many things
and hor, so sorry tt i made u know who cry
hehehe
i did not do it deliberately
did not know tt he gets scare so easily
but luckily his mama managed to calm him down and make him happy again....
ping's girl was such a darling
no wonder they said children are bundle of joy!!!
really bring laughter into our lives..
verdict, both children very adorable and good boy and girl
=))
they just eat their food and do their own things while the adults just chatted among ourselves
of course on and off, they do entertained us

8am was really very early (for me) esp its at the west side
i asked whether can be late abit bit
was informed "8 means 8"
ok lor, what to do?!!
i woke up at 630 and left house like 645am
early???well, i was still late for like 5 mins
opened the door to the class
almost fainted
all the blackies.....ok, majority were, not all
but its ok, afterall, tts what courses are for rite?
to learn mah
anyway, also dun know what time, the lecturer started to take attendance
wa kao!!
he took his own sweet time
fine!!!
but i was tl le
coz i woke up early, reached the venue early not for ppl to waste my time
anyway, he collected our ics and then scan our names
and then we signed on the attendance sheet
and i went back to my seat
shortly later, he said "where are ur photos?"
i thought he was referring to the workers
but then, i was wrong
he was referring to all in the class
he called my name and i went "why i need to give photo? i am not attending a WSH course, this is just a into to safety course"
then he said "u have to give, coz after the class, u will have a cert with ur photo on it."
and i went "but i was not told so, and HOW COULD I KNOW TT THIS IS A WSH COURSE. IT WAS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE IN MY REGISTRATION EMAIL"
and he happily replied me "oh, this is a WSH course my dear, this is the most basic course of WSH. and u need to give me a photo. no photo no cert. and i tell u, this is the problem with english course, everybody interpreted it wrongly"

then my other coll asked "when is it enforced?"
he replied "2006" and started to mumble on abt the history
oh, seriously WTF!!
if its a regulation in 2006,then why then are we send to obtain this cert NOW!!!

only managed to clear my emails
100 over lor, coz becoz i was on 2 days course

we left the fishing place at abt 530pm and i made a call home tt i will be there at 630pm so they better get ready
old man zoomed home and said we only had 30mins and we have to leave the house at 615in order to fetch them up at 630pm
dad called subseqently and requested for us to fetch him at 615 instead
i explained to the little one tt we just got back from fishing and therefore 615 is a bit tight for us to reach there at 615

finally, we bought the "perfect" gift for J

stil got 20%
and we also started our christmas shopping spree.....
20 odd presents to get and one down and some of the rest we already had some ideas what to get....yeah!! *victory sign*
woohoo.....so happy
better look out for the christmas exchange...
the organiser has not start any organising yet......
till then.....still got time.....
1 month....hope i will find the "perfect" gift soon too.......

anyway, so called the victim actually went to extract her tooth
so she was in pain the whole day yesterday and took medication and slept whole day
she told me when she woke up in the evening, then she saw the missed calls
so hor, tell me lor, even if i sms her, got help meh? will help meh? then why said i bully her????
seriously, sometimes, i think hor, must be blind, deaf and mute, perhaps life will be better......
this is the 2nd time i was told off for bullying her..........

coz i gt the 1 for 1 voucher from the mag
so we went to tr the "black pig" at ion
seriously, frankly, in my own humble opinion, not bad la
can fill the stomach and not tt terrible, horrible
but then YY dun like
she said not happy abt the meal

anyway, one man's meat is another poision......
so can see tt i am not a fussy eater....
after tt, we went window shopping
wanted to get something for jas
coz her birthday coming and also becoz we went to her house and "mess" it up as it rained on tt fateful day when we arranged to have bbq at her place
anyway, she said its ok
but YY being YY felt bad
so i suggested to get her a gift in return as jas did not want to take $$ from us for the bbq food she bought
i decided to get her either earrings or necklace
as i saw her wore before
YY said tt jas wore REAL diamond earrings
and i was like "huh? also can't be have so many pairs rite? should be costume jewellery for some"
erm, but dun get me wrong, i am not implying or saying tt i see jas no up and she cannot afford so many pairs of diamond earrings
but seriously, how many pairs do u really need??
and also i saw her wearing accessories on and off so i thought its more practical to get her these
anyway, we went into few shops and did not see anything she really like
hehehe

i told her "for me, its the thought tt counts, and i won;t go think how much is tt thing u buy for me. and hor, i am very happy if u bought me something lor i wont go care abt the price or whether is it value for money, i am quite different from u"
she was quite shocked when she heard this and went "then u love others more than urself leh"
and i went "ya. this is true. tts why i dun need to tell my bf how much i love him or i love him more. coz i am those who love others more than myself"
and she told me "u cannot like this de. u r very extreme case u know. u must love urself too."
then i went "cannot ah, too late le. from young to old already like this."
and she went "u are willing to spend on others but urself. this is no good. u must love urself more"

no la, at least in my own humble opinion, its better than PCK's version
tt rapping is too much for me to take

i only see ppl swarming at the train entrance, waiting to "cheong" into the train lor
so does the jingles really work???
i saw a mama singing the jingles to her baby
and the baby went "gagagagaga"
guess, it does work to "entertain" the kids.....

this morning, when i read the news tt due to a staring incident, someone was killed!!!!

but then he was only 18....i mean...still got a long way to go lor
and really, do u really need to use violence to settle the problem???!!!??

or like what one of the shoppers said, "looked like a grp of ppl having fun"

what if i stepped in and ask him "are u ok?"
and then next moment, for no reason i also kana hack coz they thought i was his friend??

and when he finally collapsed....he told him to open his eyes.....
